The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman And Ashland Locke At Odds, Elder Newmans Arrive

Viewers of the Young and The Restless will recall that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was set to marry Locke in Tuscany, Italy at the Newman palazzo. Then in Milan, Italy, Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) wedding to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was to take place close to the same time. Victoria and Ash are at odds after his big confession about his really being Bobby DeFranco and stealing his best friend’s identity when he died in a car accident.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had done his due diligence as a sometimes overprotective brother as far as Victoria was concerned, and challenged Ashland with his discoveries in a recent episode of The Young and The Restless. As a result, Victoria had uninvited her brother to her wedding. However, it does concern her that Ash didn’t tell her this from the beginning and she had to find out this way. The couple are arguing as the elder Newmans, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki arrive at the palazzo fresh from Summer and Kyle’s wedding in Milan.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki And Victor Newman Sense Tension

The elder Newmans sense the tension in the atmosphere as they walk in on Ashland and Victoria. Nikki waits until Ashland leaves the room, and Victor gives the two some space. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that although Victor had paid Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) to go away, that was not the end of the story.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless have to wonder if the “truth” Ashland admitted to after Nick found out what happened with the car wreck was the whole truth, and Nikki wonders the same. Victoria admits to her mother that “Ashland’s” empire was built on a crime – a crime of identity theft. At first, she had defended her fiancé to her brother, citing that he was only a kid and scared to death of his abusive father. He had no home, no job, and no future. Nikki is shocked when Victoria tells her the story of Ash and Bobby DeFranco and that he had waited that long to tell Victoria. She tells her that if she wants to cancel the wedding, it is not too late. Nikki will take care of everything.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Not Cancelling Her Wedding

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that in addition to an engagement between Locke and Victoria, there is also a merger between Newman Enterprises and Locke Communications going on. Victoria cites concerns to her mother that if they were to break off their engagement and cancel their wedding, that could be construed as red flags about the companies or the merger to investors. Nikki in turn is concerned that Victoria is not taking her own personal feelings in consideration, thinking only as a CEO.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine Nikki’s concern, and she takes things into her own hands and goes to Ashland to appeal to him regarding cancelling the wedding. Nikki knows if Ash backs out then Victoria is relieved of the burden. She mentions she’s not sure what Victor will think, who had encouraged Victoria to marry Locke. She won’t be happy if Victor is still in support of the marriage after this truth has come up! But no Newman wedding has ever been without drama – at least not any that have taken place onscreen!
