Add to that the months she was held captive by Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan), with “Bowie” her only company. To top it all off, if she hadn’t been found by Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in the nick of time, she’d have given birth all alone! She may not be ready to welcome Noah, who once was involved with her partner Tessa, back with open arms!

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that long before Mariah and Tessa got together, Tessa and Noah were involved. They met when Tessa was working as Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) personal assistant. The two soon became close and started dating, and Tessa quickly became a permanent fixture at all the Newman family gatherings.

It was at one of these gatherings that Mariah and Tessa met, and she and Noah began double-dating with Mariah and Devon. It was during a couples trip to San Francisco that the two men went out together, and Mariah and Tessa were left alone in the hotel. They found themselves very attracted to each other, and soon they were talking heart to heart and later kissed. Tessa and Mariah kept the encounter secret and tried to move on, but neither one of them could forget that night nor each other. Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless remember the rest; Mariah fell in love with Tessa and eventually their kiss was revealed. Noah dumped Tessa and then moved to London.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers And Rumors – Could Noah Newman Come Between “Teriah”?

One question that viewers of The Young and The Restless have is if Noah could come between Mariah and Tessa, now that the two women are seemingly at odds. Mariah is very anxious for them to have a baby of their own, but doesn’t want to wait until her own body is ready for another pregnancy – she wants Tessa to carry the baby. Tessa isn’t ready for a family or a pregnancy, and the two of them have been semi-arguing although Tessa hasn’t put a stop to the whole idea.

She just doesn’t think it is the right time for either of them, and takes concern that Mariah will subconsciously think of a baby of theirs as a replacement for “Bowie” – and that simply isn’t healthy! Viewers of The Young and The Restless saw Tessa and Noah together at the Tuscany wedding – and he is obviously still attracted to her, even though he mentioned he’d dated someone in London. Such a pairing would certainly create drama for viewers, because then Mariah would feel the betrayal that Noah did when she stole Tessa away from him!
