Even though Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is supportive and asked her to move in, her grief over losing baby Ava Spectra-Newman (uncast) may be too much.

Sally came to Genoa City wanting a new start, after making a disaster of her life in Los Angeles over not being able to let go of Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). She had become so obsessed with him that she couldn’t let him go after he broke up with her to return to his old sweetheart Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden).

She had even faked a fatal disease to make him feel sympathy, perhaps guilt, and paid a doctor friend to fake her diagnosis. That ended when Flo exposed her and her doctor friend, with Sally spending some time in a mental health facility. Sally was so embarrassed she swore she’d never return-but, her grandmother and younger sister are there.

Y & R Spoilers – Maybe Moving Back Home Would Be Better?

Sally hasn’t made a mess of her life but her life has made a mess out of her; she may never recover from losing her baby. She’s a mixture of guilt and blame-shifting, and accusations, taking her blame of herself out on Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) her baby’s father.

It may be so painful that facing life back in Los Angeles may be a source of comfort-she can always move back in with her grandma Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo). Her younger sister Coco Spectra (Courtney Draper) is there as well-family is very important to Sally.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – An Old Place For Another New Start?

Sally may not move back to Los Angeles permanently but it’s possible that she could-if she does stay in Genoa City she’s going to need a lot of therapy.

She swore she’d never abandon her children like her and Coco’s parents abandoned them-itinerant carnival workers who left it to grandma Shirley to raise them. She still doesn’t accept that Adam chose her over baby Ava Hope Spectra-Newman because he felt there was no choice and Sally would have died.

Perhaps some time with her grandma and sister would be more healing than trying to stay in Genoa City. Perhaps her grandma Shirley would be able to help her heal.
