For instance, the network famously expanded its Below Deck series success into spin-offs such as Below Deck Med and Below Deck Down Under. And now Real Housewives Of New York City (RHONY) alum Bethenny Frankel just might have put herself in position for another RHONY spin-off. However, many of her followers reacted with slams rather than applause to Bethenny showing off her diamond ring.

And the shade came from the way that the RHONY alum boasted about her engagement ring, noted Page Six. Frankel created an Instagram clip comparing her huge engagement ring from fiancé Paul Bernon to rings with smaller diamonds. And her Real Housewives of New York City followers accused the reality TV alum of appearing “braggy” with her boasts. In her video, Bethenny contrasted her 10-carat emerald-cut band to smaller diamond rings.

And she chose to accompany her visuals with some NSFW lyrics that began with “One margarita I’mma open…” But then Frankel cut off the track to flaunt glittery bauble. And the trolls came for her. For instance, one called the RHONY alum “out of touch.” And another asked why she felt compelled to boast to her fans.

RHONY Spoilers – Fans Urge Bethenny Frankel To ‘Bring On Bling’

Because Bethenny has become known for offering more inexpensive alternatives in her social media posts, some fans felt baffled. For example, one follower asked, “Why would you post this? Bragging much? How do you think you make others feel who have just one carat or less?”

And another thought that Frankel just wanted to flaunt her wealth. The critic commented, “I know you’re rich as s–t. But why flaunt in front of the world your s–t!?” And a third admitted, “I have a huge diamond too. But I’m never showy about it or try to show off what I own.” However, one follower offered Bethenny advice. “Money Talks……Wealth Whispers. Eeek.”

But for those who adore Bethenny, her post brought praise as well. For instance, one fan wrote, “Bring on the bling. Gosh, I love you. Beautiful ring, you don’t have to do anything for it,” added the fan. “But be your own amazing self.” And one RHONY viewer quoted Frankel herself. “Mention it all!!!” teased the RHONY fan, referencing Bethenny’s quote from the show. 

Frankel does usually share inexpensive make-up options and discount shopping suggestions. But she also recently offered her followers a tour of her $6.2 million Hamptons estate. Bernon, 45, and Frankel became engaged in March 2021. And her ring is valued at seven figures. Bethenny announced her engagement soon after finalizing her divorce from Jason Hoppy. Hoppy and Frankel split in 2012 and share their 13-year-old daughter Bryn.
