CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates document Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) idyllic life might not remain so blissful. Longtime fans recall two specific women that he was in love with many years ago. One, Cassandra Rawlins (Nina Arvesen), is believed to have been killed in the early 1990s. The other, Isabella Brana (Eva Longoria), is in a mental institution and was last seen in 2012.

Writing Cassandra back from the dead is possible because this is the daytime. But having her haunt Paul would be more believable.

Isabella could follow Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) pattern of escaping the facility where she is living. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) was Isabella’s target in the past and would be so again, as Pristine is still married.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Cassandra Rawlins Recent Revival

Davidson has been hosting an enjoyable internet series through his Instagram account in recent weeks. In the show, The Stories Behind The Stories, Davidson has offered hardcore fans a memory refresher about the legendary arc that he and Arvesen worked from 1988 through 1991.

Arvesen’s last acting credit came in 1993 when she last appeared on Santa Barbara as Angela Cassidy. That, along with Davidson’s mention that he hasn’t been able to contact the actor through the years, would seem to make this projected storyline challenging.

Y&R could have Cassandra appear as a ghost who haunts Paul if Arevesen can be contacted and agree to reprise her role on the show. Another actor could also be used, wearing some type of shroud, with retro scenes mixed in to offer context for viewers.

Y&R Spoilers – Isabella Williams Tried To Kill Cricket

Recent classic episodes have reminded devoted fans, or educated new ones, about the near deadly conflict that existed between Isabella and Christine. Longoria’s character became obsessed with Cricket toward the end of Isabella’s first stint on the show.

The memorable scene where Isabella drugged Christine, who was taking a bath, came after Christine was framed for Isabella’s faked murder. Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), who was deranged at the time, was involved with helping Isabella as well.

A tantalizing storyline would have Isabella (assuming Longoria would be up for a brief return) escape from the institution where viewers last saw her in 2012. The resultant pressure she would apply to Christine and Paul would cause Davidson’s character to believe that Cassandra was speaking to him from beyond the grave.

Davidson and Bell were once central parts of this iconic soap. Both actors remain on the cast member’s page and have retained recurring status. So, the presentation of the suggested storyline would allow all fans, both longtime and newer, to see these great actors work again with at least one of their former colleagues, Longoria, and possibly, with Arvesen as well.
