Coronation Street Spoilers: Geoff Metcalfe Scares Sally, Will She Be His Next Victim?

ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal that nasty con artist Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) can’t quite keep his stripes hidden no matter how much he tries. Next week he will once again show his true self when he loses his composure and allows his daughter-in-law Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) to see the angry man that he really is.

Of course, this is all for the best in the long run as evil Geoff has most people fooled about his real self.

What sets him off this time? His temper flares when he learns that Sally is supporting his estranged wife Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King). Poor Yasmeen is in jail after cutting Geoff with a broken bottle, which is a crime no doubt about it.

But preceding her turning against Geoff was years of ugly abuse, a case of domestic violence at its worst. Yaseen was subject to verbal and physical abuse and it’s now known that Geoff was also in the practice of using prostitutes.

Sally has had a growing suspicion however that the normally calm and well-mannered Yasmeen had a reason for lashing out at her husband. Her Spidey sense is tingling and she could be the key to saving Yasmeen.

Sally Metcalfe keeps gathering more evidence of Geoff’s evilness

Next week Sally will become more convinced that Geoff is at fault when she discovers from Cathy Matthews (Melanie Hill) that Geoff locked Yasmeen in his magic box.

Yasmeen’s granddaughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) has always believed in her grandmother’s innocence and she asks Sally to be a defense witness for Yasmeen.

When Sally visits Yasmeen in jail she asks her to reveal her story, the unvarnished details. Yasmeen complies and Sally is stunned to her core by what she hears.

After her talk, Sally informs Geoff that she has spoken to Yasmeen and he loses it big time. By the time Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) comes upon the scene, he sees his dad livid and Sally terrified of the fiend.

Sally informs him that she went to see Yasmeen and Tim is surprised and wants to know why she would do that as he believes his dad’s story.

After her visit, Sally is convinced that Geoff is a very bad piece of news and should not be trusted. What happens next–did Geoff just lose the battle and who will Tim side with as the drama deepens?
