The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Peter Bergman Upset Over Eileen Davidson Leaving The Soap

They might be siblings who are enemies on the small screen, but off screen they are such good friends that Peter Bergman says he’s quite upset that Eileen Davidson is leaving him! In fact, The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Peter, who plays Jack on the show, is none too pleased that blonde beauty Eileen (who played Ashley) is leaving the soap to pursue other opportunities.

Eileen has made it pretty clear that her time has come and that she is ready to move on from Genoa City. But at the same time, she wants to keep the door open for a possible return to The Young and the Restless in the future. But for Jack, he feels utterly heartbroken over Eileen’s decision. He absolutely loves working with her and hates seeing her go!

And while there are plenty of soap stars who come and go all the time, Peter just can’t get over the fact that he won’t be working with Eileen anymore. He loves the chemistry that they have in front of the cameras. According to CBS Soaps in Depth, Peter even said, “I – Peter Bergman – am personally, deeply heartbroken by it. I don’t have any place for it. It’s devastating news and I can’t find any place for it! When Jack came home heartbroken after the Phyllis thing, he had Ashley to bicker with… so to lose that is just heartbreaking!”
