Phyllis has a job working with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). However, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) needs her right now.

Michael’s life is falling apart and he doesn’t know where to turn. Things are likely to get much worse since Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has decided to frame him for Heather Stevens (Vail Blooms) death.

Phyllis is hurting over Heather’s death as well. However, she cannot expect her son to be there for her when he can’t get his own head together. Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) seems how much Phyllis is trying to help and he wants to be there for her.

After all, Phyllis is Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) mother. Chase feels obligated to be there for her.

Unfortunately, this could lead to trouble in Chance and Summer’s relationship, especially if she starts to act like she is upset by Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) new relationship with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).

Chase may feel that Summer is not as committed to him and find himself seeking comfort in Phyllis. This isn’t the first time writers have floated around this idea.

Chance and Phyllis growing closer could be a big red flag. Fans, as well as Summer know how Phyllis is when it comes to men. Could Phyllis and Chance fall into bed only to regret it later?

They could certainly try to hid this from Summer to make sure there are no issue in her and Chance’s relationship?

If Summer finds out that Chance and Phyllis slept together this could be the end of their relationship. Summer will be done with her mother as well.

Why would her mother betray her in this way? Summer would be devastated. Summer doesn’t deserve his from either of them. This is also something she could probably never forgive.
