Jack believes that Phyllis’ outlook has not been altered, even though she and Nick are no longer together. And so, the trip to Italy is set.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daydreams In Daytime In GC

Phyllis’ daydream reinforced what she was telling herself for weeks. She fell out of love with Nick and is in love with Jack again.

The daytime fantasy sequence that played out in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix hotel, while Jack was standing right in front of her, was touching. Phyllis thought herself into saying that she wanted Jack to tell her to stay and that he loved her. Then, Bergman’s character broke her gaze.

Phyllis was revealed to have been daydreaming about her desired outcome. But she did not share her feelings with Jack while in full consciousness, and he did not deliver on her hoped-for outcome.

Y&R Spoilers – Michelle Stafford Not Known To Be Leaving

There is no known information regarding Stafford’s exit from the cast. Her Phyllis’ character is believed to be taking a trip to Milan, Italy, to talk with Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) about her Marchetti job offer.

An easy projection has Phyllis deciding not to accept the marketing position. Her recent conversations with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) were impactful. Michael’s talk was more a statement than an exchange of ideas.

Phyllis is not going anywhere unless TPTB are about to soap the floor and pull the rug out from under its audience.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Bring This One-Time Couple Back

Phyllis and Jack were intense. But they fought and broke up. So, why push for a re-pair?

Well, both characters have grown, have no other love interests, and share the desire to try again. Most importantly, Stafford and Bergman are great actors.

So, at this point in Phyllis and Jack’s lives and in both actors’ careers, why not? So, fans of this two-time married and then twice divorced couple are right to root for another shot on Y&R.

      For a once married couple and supposedly such good friends the " mixed signals " is the very reason NOT to reunite, obviously despite their long history they still don't get each other. True love isn't difficult, its not game playing and mixed signals, its two people who just fit where no one else does.
