The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Enables Billy’s Gambling – Aides Kyle’s Plan To Oust Billy As CEO

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are playing a dangerous game. They just spent an adrenaline-filled weekend in Las Vegas, where Billy was goaded into gambling by Sinead (Lira Kellerman). He did quite well at the table, and he and Phyllis celebrated big.

Of course, viewers know that Sinead is secretly working for Kyle (Michael Mealor), who is hoping that she can convince Billy to spiral back into his addiction. Kyle would love nothing more than for Billy to do something to make the Jabot board lose confidence in him. Kyle figures that getting Billy back into gambling might just do the trick.

Kyle will probably be pleasantly surprised at just how quickly his little plan works. Y&R spoilers say that Billy will soon face some crushing losses, and that his gambling will start spiraling out of control. And while it hasn’t been her intention to do so, Phyllis is actually helping push Billy over the edge.

Phyllis is in an interesting position right now when it comes to Billy. She’s terrified of losing him to Summer (Hunter King), doesn’t want to be seen as a killjoy who wants to put a damper on Billy’s fun, and she feels guilty about her one-night stand with Nick (Joshua Morrow). So, she seems to be going out of her way to support Billy in whatever he wants to do, which includes high-stakes gambling.

Once Billy starts losing big and things start looking bleak, Phyllis will wise up and realize that she’s made a mistake in enabling Billy’s gambling addiction. Y&R spoilers say that she will then go to extremes to save him from himself. But by then, the losses will probably have piled up and Billy will be in financial trouble. That will lead to even more gambling to win back losses, and Billy will be right in the midst of his addiction.

This won’t bode well for Billy as the CEO of a major corporation. Do you think that Phyllis’ enabling will help Kyle put the nails in Billy’s coffin at Jabot?
