Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) asked Phyllis to abandon her loved ones and life in Genoa City, Wisconsin, so she could help him exact revenge against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
But Phyllis’ guilt is already overbearing. She was questioning her children’s grief following the announcement that a fiery crash ended Phyllis’ life.
Jeremy has little to lose in pairing with Phyllis. His hands are not clean, but he is forcing Phyllis to leave her life while he resumes his criminal reality.

The intense pain Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) are enduring is Phyllis’ fault. She is not dead but faked that event by conspiring with Jeremy.
Phyllis is masterfully creative. She is also resilient. Viewers know she will need to be at her all-time best to come back from this debacle. But how will that be possible?
Jeremy is more despised than Phyllis. He is seen as the troublemaker. That could be the basis of Phyllis’ revival attempts.
Y&R Spoilers – The Enemy Of Her Enemy
Jeremy is the bad guy Phyllis thought he was before she met him. She regretted contacting him and supplying Diane’s contact information.
Phyllis pretended not to be the source of that information when Jeremy first came to GC. But she eventually admitted to it and told him her claims of Diane having reported him to the authorities for money laundering were pure conjecture though the audience knows Walters’ character did turn him in.
Diane projects as the ideal person for Phyllis to partner with at this point in the plot. He would not expect it, and Phyllis might be able to spin that alliance to her defense.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jeremy Stark Has To Go
Jeremy is the source of trouble. He involved Diane in the money laundering operation without her knowledge. Doing so led to him rightly being incarcerated.
Phyllis’ children and others are blaming Jeremy for her death. Their assessment is off but only due to their perception.
Hyde’s character must be run out of GC, not Phyllis or Diane. So, Phyllis should carefully announce her existence, team with Diane, and work with her to set up their common enemy on Y&R.

this is the most ridiculous storyline in a long time and has been done on so many soaps it’s pathetic. The writers have run out of decent story arcs and think the viewers are stupid…none of this stuff would ever be done in reality and yes I know it’s a soap so no reality but it’s getting so boring watching the writers giving us the same drivel over and over and I personally think it really demeans these great actors giving them garbage stories!
This whole scenario between Phyllis and Diane is one many of us would love to see but you’re posting it as a spoiler when it is nothing but your take on how that could possibly happen. Speculating and Spoiling are two very different things and I wish more of these fake spoiler sites would make some changes to reflect that.
