The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Won’t Turn Herself In Willingly, Kyle Busts Her To The Police After Busting Summer

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t turn herself in willingly. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) first follows Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and bursts in on her, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Phyllis and after busting Summer he busts Phyllis to the police!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why Not Surprised To See Her Mom?

After following Summer to the suite in the Genoa City Athletic Club and letting loose on Phyllis, he realizes Summer isn’t surprised to see her although she is to see him. It’s at that point that Kyle realizes it wasn’t Daniel who Phyllis first made contact with, it was Summer, although she denies it.

At that point, Kyle demands Summer’s phone, and realizes she’s been lying to him when he sees a number on her text log that must be Phyllis’.

Kyle is really upset because Summer has lied about being in touch with her mother and Daniel obviously repeated Summer’s admissions to him. Here he was trying to get his own mother absolved of murder charges that his mother-in-law had framed her for!

Y & R Spoilers- More And More Irritation With The Situation

Kyle will become more and more irritated with the whole situation, and things will continue to go south between him and Summer for protecting Phyllis. Kyle and Daniel are likeminded in one respect, and one respect only, where Phyllis’ situation is concerned-it would go far better for her if she would turn herself into the police.

Simply by being there in the room with her, they are all aiding and abetting a fugitive from the law, and Phyllis cannot prove she didn’t murder Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

There was no forensic evidence of any type of struggle, only her story that she killed him in self-defense with a pair of scissors and rolled him in a shower curtain. His body still wrapped in the curtain floated up to the top of a nearby lake close to the motel where they’d stayed.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Blows The Whistle

Soon, Kyle can take no more and he blows the whistle on Phyllis; if his mother had to suffer in jail because of Phyllis, then Phyllis has to suffer. It may be the end of Summer and Kyle by the time it’s over, but Kyle will not protect Phyllis. Because of her, his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) had to pay for a murder that didn’t happen, and the most sickening part is Phyllis attended her own funeral!

If Diane had to pay then Phyllis has to pay – and to make it worse, Phyllis did the same thing Diane did years ago – fake her own death! No matter how Summer and Daniel spin it, or what part Hyde had in it, it was revenge on Kyle’s mother, pure and simple!
