The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease rejected and wounded by Sally Spectra, (Courtney Hope) Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) goes back to the dark side. Sally lashes out and blames Adam for the loss of their baby girl, and he starts blaming himself as well, and reverts.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Can’t Handle The Grief

Adam was pressed into making a decision whether to save Sally or their baby, and he chose Sally-but when she found out, she lashed out and blamed him!

It was either he make the decision or the doctors would and both mother and baby could not be saved. But his own grief and Sally’s are too much for him to bear, and he starts remembering the horrible decisions he made before in his life and thinks he’s being punished.

Of course, Adam isn’t thinking any more rationally than Sally, in the aftermath of this horrible tragedy. Both are lost in their immeasurable grief and it’s simply overwhelming-plenty of support is offered but both are pushing people away.

Y & R Spoilers – Grief Turned Inward

Adam’s grief is turned inward after not very much time once Sally lashes out at both him and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over the loss of the baby girl. She’s blaming Adam for killing their baby and blaming Nick for abandoning her for his other family-but she’s crazed with grief and that’s understandable.

At first she blamed herself but Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) managed to convince her it was nothing she’d done-she’d done everything right, and the placental abruption could not have been anticipated. Unfortunately, that was a last minute complication and it was a matter of life and death for both, but Adam turns dark when he can’t handle the fallout.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – They’ll Both Need Help

Both Sally and Adam are going to need some major help, and both of them may need hospitalization, especially Sally. Adam could unfortunately withdraw from his son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) perhaps worried he’s a curse and Connor could suffer – Adam thinking he’s better off without Dad.

Adam could even think that karma has finally struck back for his accidentally running over Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and that’s why he lost his baby girl with Sally.

Grief and anger turned on oneself is never a good thing, and could lead to a tragedy. Luckily, Adam has at least two in his circle who can recognize the signs of danger-Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
