Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) instinctively knows that Chadam is threatened by the reestablished link Adam created with Sharon. So, she’s right to confront Sharon, putting her on strong notice.

Generally lost within the drama is the fact that Adam’s brief therapy sessions with Sharon worked in what could be deemed record-setting time. How many characters in Genoa City, Wisconsin, history can claim to have had a full breakthrough after one introductory session and a few chats?

Reclaiming the Kansas memory allowed Adam to conclusively know what happened on his mother’s farm in Kansas. But rather than deal responsibly with that information, Adam has chosen to lash out at Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Totally On Board

Chelsea is acting recklessly in supporting Adam’s desire to start yet another battle with his father. Doing so is a further sign that Adam is unstable and will create further misery for himself and others when pursuing this amoral course.

Egan’s character has often had a neutralizing influence on Adam, especially during the period when Justin Hartley (Adam) was playing this character. But Y&R has written Grossman’s edition back to the Michael Muhney (Adam) era, where Victor’s namesake was constantly thirsting for revenge.

The consequence of what should be the stable half of Chadam throwing in with Adam is that there is no counterbalance to the destructive scheme he’s developing. At least this volatile couple has taken the protective step of sending Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to boarding school, proving that they still have their parental duties in mind.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Dealing With Cancer

Sharon knows that she must place her energy, which is reduced right now, in the cancer fight. Rey has been and must remain her lead guy in this effort. So, it wouldn’t have been productive to alienate him during this time.

It seems calculated to pause the seeming Shadam comeback story, as Sharon appears to be keeping Adam as a future option. Rey, like Chelsea, recognizes how dangerous any Sharon-Adam link was and could be again. So, he must also remain on alert while he supports a hoped-for recovery.

      I think that Sharon & Adam should get back together. He doesn't Mottley Cottle her the way Rey does. Sharon is not use to someone waiting on her hand and foot. She's use to. Taking care of herself. Chelsea does the same thing to Adam. Maybe Chelsea & Rey should get together since their 2 of a kind. Adam is mad at Victor because he was never there for him because of his mother telling to stay away. And Victor should've let Adam take his lumps back then; Adam would've been mad at Victor for that. Adam Can't win either way.
