The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 22, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will arrive at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, and the two will talk about Devon’s conflict over helping Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Devon will say that he wants to help Amanda, but he doesn’t want to hurt Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Nate will urge Devon to do what he feels is right in his heart. Devon will say that he wants to help Amanda, but he’ll be worried about Elena. Nate will tell Devon to be open and honest with Elena, and that she’ll understand.

Next on Y&R, Amanda and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will start working together to investigate Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) past. Amanda will learn from Hilary’s birth certificate that Hilary was born two hours away from where Amanda was abandoned. Amanda will feel like something’s missing, but she’ll need more information from Devon.

Amanda will tell Billy that she’s reluctant to call Devon again, but then Devon will call her, asking her to come over so they can talk more about Hilary. Later, Amanda will arrive at Devon’s penthouse, ready to get some more information about her twin sister.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Freaks Out When She Spies Summer Newman’s Engagement Ring

Next on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will visit with Summer Newman (Hunter King) at the Grand Phoenix. Summer will be about to head to the spa when she bends over to pick up her purse and her engagement ring falls out of her blouse on its chain. Phyllis will immediately see the ring and she’ll have a mini meltdown.

Phyllis will have all sorts of cautions and reasons why Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) shouldn’t get married, and soon Summer will get irritated with the onslaught. Summer will accuse Phyllis of projecting her fears and anxieties about her relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) onto her own relationship with Kyle. Summer will leave in a huff.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman & Chelsea Lawson Consider Boarding School For Connor Newman

Next on Y&R, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will discuss sending Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to boarding school. Adam won’t be fully on board, and he’ll stall by heading to Society for some takeout.

Nick will arrive at Society to find Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at a table. After some small talk about Kyle and Summer, Adam will walk in to pick up his food, and he’ll end up talking with Nick at the bar about boarding school for Connor. Nick will think it sounds like a good idea for Connor to get away.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Decides Boarding School Is The Right Option For Connor Newman

Once Nick goes, Victor will ask Adam to bring Connor to the ranch sometime. Adam will balk, saying that won’t happen, but Victor will insist that he wants to see Connor. Adam will tell Victor that Connor will likely end up at boarding school soon. Victor won’t disagree with that decision, and Adam will say that it’s for the best, given what’s about to happen. Victor will wonder what that means, but Adam will walk out.

Next on Y&R, Adam will return to the penthouse with food, and he and Chelsea will get ready to spring the idea of boarding school on Connor. Once that conversation happens off-screen, Chelsea will take Connor to his best friend’s house for a sleepover. When she returns, she’ll tell Adam that she convinced Connor’s best friend’s mom to send the friend to boarding school too.

Nick Newman Hears Some Shocking Information

Finally, back at the Grand Phoenix, Nick will show up to see Phyllis, and he’ll remark on how happy he is and that they should make a plan for the rest of their lives. Summer will materialize, having finished at the spa, and she’ll angrily accuse Phyllis of trying to upstage her engagement. “What? You’re engaged?” Nick will say, obviously upset.
