Sharon believes she’s helping Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). In reality Rey is right to be increasingly troubled by the danger his wife is needlessly exploring in what is an evolving and volatile situation.

If he had his druthers, Sharon’s last name wouldn’t be Rosales. It would still be Newman. She wouldn’t have needed a name change when remarrying Adam.

Early last year, while Adam and Chelsea weren’t together, Adam and Sharon had a brief reconnection. That was the wink Y&R’s writing staff gave to the audience. From that point on fans were led to believe that the Shadam tease meant further involvement between Sharon and Adam would happen and it has.

Adam cares about Chelsea, but is used to Sharon being available to him in some form. And that option is driving Chelsea out of her mind.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Rosales References His Past

Rey endured a very hard relationship with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales). His wife became involved with his brother, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela), during the first part of their marriage. Then, as viewers saw, she was drawn to Arturo during what proved to be the break-point of Mey’s union. A child and marriage followed for Mia and Arturo, which Rey made peace with.

As Rey tells Sharon, betrayal doesn’t have to be an actual act. It can also happen in emotional form. That’s what Sharon has been doing with Adam. She’s been disrespecting Rey’s feelings and his warnings about the dysfunction Adam represents.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shey And Chadam Stick?

Chelsea is determined to regain her health. She’s currently paralyzed and can’t speak due to her stroke. Sharon’s inclusion in Chelsea’s recovery is outrageous, as it’s being used to literally force the efforts Egan’s character is making.

But Shadam lives in its own reality, where other people’s opinions are secondary. What Sharon and Adam decide rules.

So a fair prediction would be that Shey and Chadam end. However, Sharon and Adam share a common trait of being powerfully influential in the lives of those who love them.

Then again, maybe Shey and Chadam survive, with realized detrimental effects felt by Rey and Chelsea. Yes, the characters Vilasuso and Egan play could choose to believe that they can fix who they believe are their true loves.
