It is hinted that Rey will die after being struck by Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) car. Sharon has been mentally stable for a while. Sharon’s grief could cause her to spiral, and she might seek vengeance.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Victoria loses control of her car while crying about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). When Victoria crashes, she happens to be on the phone with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Keep in mind that Nikki has no idea where Victoria is but knows something awful has happened.

Victoria is unconscious and her car catches on fire. So, there is a limited amount of time to save Victoria. Meanwhile, it is speculated that Victoria didn’t just run off the road. Victoria probably ran right into the car carrying Rey, Chelsea, and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). With Vilasuso confirming his exit from the CBS soap, it’s reasonable to assume that Rey dies in the accident.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales’ Grief

It is teased that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will share shocking news. This comes right after the accident scene. So, Nick might tell Sharon about the car crash. In real life, that job would be left up to the police. However, it’s possible that Nick gets to Sharon before the police can tell her the news about Rey.

Sharon will be devastated. There is reason to believe that Sharon might blame herself. After all, she had a chance to tell Rey not to go on the trip with Chelsea and Connor. However, she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Plus, Sharon saw how close Rey had gotten with Connor. While Sharon might blame herself at first, she could quickly turn that blame onto someone else.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sharon’s been mentally stable for quite some time. However, trauma and grief can definitely cause someone to spiral mentally. As Sharon tries to cope with Rey’s death, she could completely lose it. There are some people that go through a psychotic break brought on by grief.

So, could we see this happen with Sharon? If so, she could blame one person and decide to make that individual pay for killing Rey. Sharon probably won’t blame Victoria or even Ashland. It’s possible that Sharon will place the blame on Chelsea. In Sharon’s mind, Rey wouldn’t have even been on the road that night if it weren’t for Chelsea.

If Sharon decides to make Chelsea pay, how far will she go? Sharon could make her intentions clear, but she would probably be admitted to the hospital right away. Soap storylines are never resolved that quickly. It’s more likely that Sharon will secretly target Chelsea and it might take a while before anyone realizes it’s her. We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to see what happens next.

      Did'nt Ashland say after VICTORIA WENT OFF ROAD HE SWERVED AND SIDESWIPED REY.Sad way to write a actor out and open storyline for another [ Ashland ]

      That's the story Ashland told Victoria. If he is telling the truth, Victoria did not hit Rey, therefore not responsible for the accident. All Ashland has to do is repeat what he saw. Question, will he repeat it without bring compensated by the Newmans?

      It would be understandable for this situation to unseat Sharon's good progress with her health. However I hope the writers don't drag it out like they are so fond of doing recently. Sharon's entitled to a melt down but she should realize Rey would want his death to undo her all her hardwood to be healthy for her children. Sharon has a big loving family I would love to see them all work to help her pull through.
