No matter how Rey exits, it will be devastating for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Will Rey and Sharon get a divorce? Could Rey be killed, or will there be a mysterious disappearance?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jordi Vilasuso’s Confirmation

Y&R spoilers reveal that there are rumored exits, returns, and debuts all the time. Sometimes those are just fabricated stories. Other times, there is some truth to them. Unfortunately, Vilasuso confirmed he is leaving the CBS soap. Fans first began seeing Vilasuso as Rey in 2018.

The actor mentioned that leaving the soap came as a complete surprise. So, it seems he was written off rather than it being his decision.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson’s Crush

Right now, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) doesn’t seem fixated on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) anymore. Chelsea even called a truce with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). However, that’s because she’s developed a crush on Rey. Chelsea knows that Rey is married to Sharon.

Chelsea doesn’t seem to be actively pursuing Rey or trying to have an affair. However, she does find herself drawn to him. Since Chelsea’s return to Genoa City, Rey has been a huge cheerleader and support system for her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the bond between Chelsea and Rey isn’t one-sided. Rey looks smitten each time he sees Chelsea. Rey continually sings her praises and has gotten close to Chelsea’s son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Plus, Rey seems more invested in spending time with Chelsea and Connor than with his own wife.

Sharon has noticed Rey and Chelsea’s connection but hasn’t said anything. Sharon doesn’t seem as worried as she should be about the situation. Perhaps that is a big clue that Sharon knows the relationship has run its course. With Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) getting close again, it appears that divorce is ahead.

Y&R Spoilers – Murder Or Disappearance

Of course, Rey’s exit could be far more dramatic. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is returning to the police force. Chance’s attempt to join Rey’s stakeout didn’t go so well. However, Chance and his therapist think now is the right time to try again. Rey seemed hesitant about it, so that could have been a foreshadowing. Will Chance freeze up again, leading to Rey’s death in the line of duty?

There is also the situation with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Ashland will do whatever it takes to win. However, there could be a time when Rey officially investigates Ashland for a crime, probably fraud. If that happens, Ashland might murder Rey, or the detective could mysteriously disappear.
