The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer Comes Clean With Daniel, Will He Keep Their Mom’s Sordid Scissors Secret?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will come clean with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). She’ll finish telling him the sordid scissors secret Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) told her, but will he understand and keep the secret?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Must Remain Hidden

Phyllis told Summer that the whole murder plot was Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) idea, and that she couldn’t go through with her part of it, “staying dead”.

She also told how he came after her with a pair of scissors, and she had no choice but to fight for her life, and he was the loser. She cleaned up the room, wrapped him in the shower curtain and disposed of his body.

Recently, Stark’s body was found, having floated up to the surface of a lake-it is more important than ever Phyllis stay hidden. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) revealed it happened in a different police jurisdiction, Stark the obvious victim of a murder.

Y & R Spoilers – A Horrendous Story

Summer makes sure that she and Daniel are completely alone when she tells him the horrendous story and why their mother must stay hidden.

Daniel also knows that he would be a likely suspect in Stark’s death, as well as a few others who publicly threatened him at Phyllis’ memorial service.

Summer also tells him that Phyllis came to the memorial disguised as a member of the Genoa City Athletic Club staff. She tells him until it’s determined an enemy of Stark is arrested and convicted for his murder, they must keep their mother’s secret-she doesn’t know where she is.

The going theory right now is that Phyllis was collateral damage, that is what Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is trying to get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) freed with.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – But It Was Self-Defense, Surely She’d Be Held Harmless

Daniel argues that since it was self-defense, surely Phyllis would be held harmless-still not quite wanting to believe his sister’s tale.

No one would doubt that Stark had taken advantage of Phyllis’ hatred and revenge desires towards Diane to lure her into his plot.

Phyllis had felt abandoned by both Daniel and Summer as a result of their attempts at tough love towards her, both having fired her from jobs they’d given her.

Summer insists they must keep what they now both know a secret for Phyllis’ sake, and that she really wasn’t even supposed to reveal her survival to him. For now, the best way they can help her is to keep her sordid scissors secret and her survival a secret.
