The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer’s Betrayal, Can Kyle Forgive Her?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers reveal Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been having a really hard time processing the untimely passing of her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), well, until recently when she had a brief reunion with her mother that left her heart broken once she learned what had transpired with her mother.

Unfortunately instead of thinking with a clear mind she has let Phyllis gas-light her into thinking that even though she faked her death, it wasn’t as bad as what Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) did to her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

I mean however she needs to justify it is going to be wrong, and while Diane is definitely no saint, Phyllis is going to have A LOT to answer for when she is found to be alive. Summer has tried to convince her brother, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) that their mother is alive and he wants to believe her but is having a hard time. The thing is Summer needs to let Kyle know. It’s only fair that way his mother doesn’t pay for a crime she didn’t commit. They could also work together to talk to the police about why Phyllis had to do what she did. Unfortunately, I don’t think Summer will realize this and only make things worse.

The Young And The Restless- Kyle Abbott Lashes Out When the Truth Comes Out

Y&R Spoilers tease that things between Kyle and Summer have been tense to say the least and once he finds out that Phyllis is alive and Summer knew, things could explode between the two. This betrayal will effectively end the two of them staying out of the middle of their mother’s war and could end with them splitting up. I am sure that Kyle will not be able to forgive Summer from keeping something like that from him and she will also have to face backlash from all of her loved ones in Genoa City.

Will she be able to keep up the facade, I hope she can and if she can’t I hope that Phyllis will at least stand up for her daughter and let everyone know that this wasn’t her fault. I think the person that she would hurt the most would be her father in law Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Jack was married to Phyllis at one point and Summer has been a huge part of his life since her birth. While her father Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been an amazing father, Jack was like a surrogate especially after she married Kyle. These two men may not be able to let this be forgiven.
