The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that last week Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) politely declined to continue in a relationship with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) leaving the former top cop available to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Sharon saw the way that Summer looked at her man, and realized she’s too old to play this game. After a little meow fight with Summer, Sharon released Chance from her orbit and wished him well. She has a multimillionaire company to run that will change the world.

All that’s left is for Chance to take the bait that Summer is trying to lure him with. And what better way for Chance and Summer to become a couple than to add a baby into the mix?

Chance was cheated out of being a father with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)—long story. He wanted to be a dad, and now that he’s at a career crossroads, it’s the perfect time to grow a family.

We are just conjecturing at this point because Chance and Summer haven’t done the deed, as far as we know. Maybe there are flashbacks from the killer concert they attended.

Maybe fans will get another knuckleheaded ‘he said, she said’ black and white flashback storyline. Because Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall’s Trevor St. John) has been so successful.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Are Chance Chancellor And Summer Newman Going To Co-Parent?

Assuming that Summer and Chance take their relationship to another level, we have the possibility of a pregnancy storyline for Summer. This would be a great way to have the couple spend time talking about their futures and learn more about each other.

Let’s not forget though, that when Chance planned to have a baby with Abby Newman, they discovered he had a low sperm count and low motility. Chance’s doctor told him that the issue could self-correct and maybe it has. There’s only one way to find out!

Summer has mothered Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) but she is out in the cold now that she’s broken up with his dad Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Is it time for Summer to deliver a baby?
