Y&R spoilers reveal that after being rescued and giving birth, Mariah had a hard time letting go of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor. Mariah became obsessed with the baby and even suggested that Tessa get pregnant so they could have one of their own. At the time, Tessa wasn’t ready for that kind of step.
Since then, Mariah has been focused on trying to get better. She’s not 100 percent yet and still struggles. According to Grimes’ interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mariah realizes that having a baby to “fix” her obsession with Dominic was a terrible idea. So, what happens when Tessa does a complete 180?

Tessa suddenly announces to Mariah that she is ready to start a family. Tessa asks Mariah if she would be open to adoption or if her heart is set on a biological child. After moving out of the Chancellor manse, Mariah kept telling Tessa that she wanted her to experience what she did carrying Dominic.
