The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that the next day Tessa will meet up with Tanner and it looks like the two of them already know one another. Cait Fairbanks, who plays Tessa on the hit CBS soap, says that it’s no coincidence.

The actress tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “A lot of changes have happened since they last saw each other, which can be a good thing or a really bad thing. This isn’t something super exciting for her. It’s more, ‘Okay what do you want.”

Tanner tells Tessa that he’s been listening to her music online and clearly, he likes what he hears. He then tells her that he would like for her to go on tour with him as his opening up. As much as Tessa is thrilled about this opportunity, she knows that it will definitely change things between her and Mariah. After all, they don’t have the most stable relationship and with Tessa on the road, it will be hard to maintain things back home. Also, Tessa knows that with an opportunity like this, there’s more than what meets the eye.
