Y&R spoilers reveal that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) returned to Genoa City right before Mariah disappeared. The last time that Mariah was seen by her loved ones was when she went for her daily run. As fans recall, Mariah ran into Stitch and the two exchanged small talk.

Since then, the only time Mariah has been seen on-screen is yelling for help behind a locked door. Stitch keeps reappearing and checking in with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Stitch does look guilty but soaps usually don’t reveal the real villain this early. We have seen Mariah demanding to be released and we’ve seen Stitch plenty of times. However, we haven’t seen them together since the kidnapping.

So, it seems that Stitch could be a red herring. After all, soaps love to throw curve balls and shocking twists. There’s nothing shocking or interesting about the plot if the answers are unveiled right away.

Y&R Spoilers – Lying About Hospital Job

Last week, Abby asked what Stitch was still doing in town. He claimed to have an interview at the hospital. Then, he said that the hospital offered him the Chief of Surgery position. However, it appears that Stitch is lying about the job as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) apparently has the same job. One of them has to be lying and our bets are on Stitch.

Even though he might not be Mariah’s kidnapper, that doesn’t mean he’s not lying about the hospital job. He is probably just looking for a way to justify being close to Abby again. If he just hung around without a job or another good reason, then it would give off stalkerish vibes.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Mariah has been sending texts to Abby, Tess and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). At first glance, it was a relief that Mariah was okay. However, as time went on, Abby and Tess began going back and forth about if the messages were really from her.

The next text message that Tessa receives will seem like a goodbye. Basically, Mariah writes that she won’t be at the next doctor’s appointment as she just “can’t handle” it right now. Then, she adds that she won’t be coming home for a while.

With her carrying Abby’s unborn child, everyone should be concerned. However, the only person that really seems to hear the alarm bells is Tess. So, she starts investigating Mariah’s disappearance herself. She is determined to find where she could be. Will Tess be able to save Mariah or could both women end up in danger? Is Stitch the kidnapper or is he just a red herring?
