Next week, the three women get a group message from Mariah. It basically says that she just can’t cope with doctors and she won’t be coming home anytime soon. Mariah’s captor wants everyone to stop asking questions and accept that she wants to be left alone. Mariah’s loved ones have started noticing oddities in the messages and considered calling the police. However, Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) conveniently stops by to get updates. He also keeps shrugging off Mariah’s disappearance and even suggested that it’s Tess’s fault.

When the group text comes in during the week of August 2, Tess will rush to talk to Abby. However, Abby has a very different reaction than Tessa expects. She believes that the message confirms that Mariah isn’t coming home and seems both upset and annoyed. It appears that she has given up on Mariah giving her the baby she wants so much.

Hopefully, Tessa will be able to reassure Abby and let her know that this can’t be Mariah sending the messages.

There is the possibility that Tess might search for Mariah because she has a lead or clue. She’s been reading the messages constantly. Picking the words and phrases apart, which is how she is noticing a lot seems very un-Mariah. She was also going to use technology to her advantage. Maybe she will know which direction to begin her search.

If there was any doubt about the depth or magnitude of Tessa’s love, there sure won’t be after Mariah’s rescue.
