Lily just got a visit from Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), who has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia. The man now needs stem cells from a donor, most likely a relative. 

Lily can’t do it because of her own chemotherapy history. So, not only is the lady dealing with her father’s illness, but she can’t even help. 

Traci Abbott’s Support

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) wanted to help a tearful Lily, but she wouldn’t open up to him.

Lily does need to talk to someone, though.

So, when she runs into Lily, the two get caught up.

Lily knows that Traci is trustworthy and discreet.

So, she will tell Traci about what’s going on.

Traci will do her best to help guide Lily through this heartbreaking situation.

Stephanie Simmons’ Complicated Past

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 9 reveal that Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will continue explaining to Malcolm.

While Stephanie never meant any harm, the truth has caused tension with multiple people. 

When Malcolm gets a donor, Lily will want to know who it is.

So, that could open the door to a complicated discussion about Stephanie’s past decisions and what it means for everyone’s futures.

As for Holden, he will have to face some tough decisions and bombshells.

Holden just learned that his bio father is actually Malcolm. Holden doesn’t even know how to process that yet.

Then, he was just asked to get tested to see if he can save Malcolm’s life.

It’s all a lot for Holden. It seems he was very close to his mother until this curveball. So, he has a lot of thinking to do.

Claire Grace Newman’s Discovery

While Holden tries to wrap his head around all of this, Claire will encounter him.

Claire will see a whole new side to her friend, one that she’s never seen before.

Maybe she can reason with Holden. If he says no, Malcolm dies.

If he says yes, then a man can live. No matter his personal feelings, I can’t see Holden denying a man his life.
