The Young And The Restless: Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman )The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 13, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heine) will drop by to see Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at the house. Sharon will be resting and recovering from her recent surgery to remove her tumor, and she’ll get Victoria up to speed on how the surgery went and how she’s facing more chemo going forward. Victoria and Sharon will talk a bit about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as well, noting that he’s no longer at Newman Enterprises and that he’s dealing with his own issues now.

Next on Y&R, at Crimson Lights, Adam will be making preparations to go pick up George the Kansas farm caretaker, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will suggest that she meet with George instead. Chelsea will think that perhaps they should just call off the meeting with George and that Adam should just slow down, but Adam will be insistent that he needs to know the truth about who’s responsible for AJ Montalvo’s death all those years ago.

Meanwhile, at Society, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will leave George a voicemail message wanting him to call before he meets with Adam. Across the room, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will talk with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) about how things are going at Jabot – Jack will have been preoccupied with Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) lately.

Kyle and Summer will decide to go pay Dina a visit, and Jack will join Victor at the bar. Jack and Victor will spar after Jack wonders what Adam’s done now. Victor will punch back, making some snide remarks about Kyle and how he’s broken Summer’s heart more than once.

Y&R Spoilers – Kevin Fisher & Esther Valentine Offer Each Other Some Support

Next on Y&R, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will talk with Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) at the Chancellor estate while Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is upstairs suffering from heartburn. Kevin will wonder why Esther seems to be going overboard and spending too much on the expectant baby. Esther will admit that she’s really just trying to make up for not having given Chloe a father.

Kevin will understand, and he’ll disclose his own worries about being a good father after his own horrible relationship with his dad. Kevin and Esther will support each other and Kevin will tell Esther that she’s a great mom to Chloe, while Esther tells Kevin that he’s a wonderful man and that he will be a great dad to his little boy.

Over at the Abbott estate, Kyle will tell Summer that he just visited with Dina, who seems to be upset about something. Kyle will call Jack, who will still be with Victor at Society. Jack will take off for home, and after he checks on Dina, he’ll share with Summer and Kyle that Dina is indeed agitated and talking about “Bixley.” Jack won’t know what that could mean.

Next On Y&R, Adam and George will arrive at the penthouse where Chelsea will be waiting. Adam will start to quiz George about AJ’s death, and George will seem nervous, wondering when Victor will be arriving. Adam will explain that Victor isn’t coming, and he’ll proceed with his questions. George will get agitated when Adam says that Victor is claiming that he killed AJ when he was 11 years old. George will say that he doesn’t want any part of this.

As the men are talking, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will call Adam upset about something. Adam will calm Connor down and have a nice father/son chat, which George will hear. George will then comment that Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) once worried about Adam the same way. George will say that Adam knows the truth about AJ deep down and that Hope and Victor just wanted to shield him from what happened.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Seeks Out Sharon Newman’s Help

Once George is gone, Adam will theorize that perhaps Victor got to George. Chelsea will say that George seemed sincere, and Adam will start to grasp that he might have actually killed AJ and blocked the whole thing out of his mind.

Adam will be upset, and he’ll feel the need to find out what happened. Finally, on Thursday’s new episode of Y&R, Adam will head to Sharon’s place, where he’ll tell her that he needs her help and that it cannot wait.

    I really enjoy the actress and her portrayal of Dina, she does an amazing job and bring a wonderful performance out of everyone in the scenes with her. However the storylines of her secrets are getting old. Please writers move on! Have Ashley meet some of Dina’s colleagues in Paris, perhaps find a romance with a son of a French business rival, anything but another Dina’s skeleton filled closet. The writers are turning her into a crafty old bitch, let the poor woman have some dignity in her final days. Writers need to stop getting hooked up on the same themes and ideas. The love triangles are something else that have been done to death. I’m not looking forward to another Nick, Chelsea, Adam scenario or Kyle, Lola, Summer and anything with Phyllis stripping off turns my stomach. I am hopeful this break from taping the show has given the writers a chance to come up with new and fresh stories, not use the break to think fans might be ready to watch the same boring, lazy love triangles and stories all over again, just because we haven’t seen them for a few months doesn’t mean we have forgotten these revolving partners. I like the Sharon recovery story. I like seeing Victor mellow and becoming softer with age. Time to turn someone younger into the power hungry business person, someone shocking like Chance or Abby. Kyle and Summer are too young and have had too much office sex to be taken seriously, so not them.
