The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday August 29: Celeste Leaves Town, Billy Puts His Plan In Motion, and Chloe Saves Adam

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday August 29th indicate that Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) will leave Genoa City, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) puts his plan into motion, and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tries to stop Billy before it’s too late.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are in their apartment where Kyle is installing a new air conditioner unit. The couple start making out when the power goes out. Kyle gets it turned back on, then calls to inform Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) of the problem. When Lola discovers the fridge has broken down, she starts fretting because Celeste and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are coming over for dinner.

Kyle assures her it’ll be okay and that he’s handy with home repairs. Celeste and Rey arrive and the family chats and jokes with each other. Kyle says he’s happy to be part of a family with a zest for life and he can’t wait for his kids to be part of it. When Celeste asks if they’re expecting, the couple says they’re not in a rush to have kids. Rey says it’s a smart move, then Celeste brings up Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) baby.

Rey says it’s okay to talk about it, he’s happy for Arturo and is excited about being an uncle. Celeste and Lola bring up Sharon, and Lola tries to convince her brother to give Sharon another chance. Noticing how uncomfortable Rey is with the Sharon talk, Kyle makes a toast to family. The group has dinner before Rey and Celeste take their leave. Lola hugs her mother and they say their goodbyes. Celeste promises she’s not going to let Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) manipulate her again. After Celeste leaves, Kyle tells Lola how much he loves her.

An angry Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) arrives at the Chancellor mansion and accuses Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) about messing with his head. When Kevin asks what’s going on, Adam shows him the text about the meeting on the highway. Kevin admits he hates Adam, but neither he nor Chloe would risk tearing his family apart to play mind games with him. Kevin order Adam to leave, but before he goes Adam gives Kevin a warning.

Later Kevin asks Chloe if she’s behind the anonymous text sent to Adam. Chloe says it wasn’t her, then figures out if must’ve been Billy who sent it. She fears that’s he’s going to hurt Adam and they need to stop Billy. The couple argues over whether they should get involved. Chloe brings up how Billy said he wished she’d kill Adam, then later he said he figured out a way to handle Adam. Chloe asks Kevin to check on Billy, when he’s reluctant she responds “Do it for, Delia.”

Later Adam is at Society when he runs into Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). He wants to know if she sent the text. Mariah assures her it wasn’t her and she doesn’t want anything to do with him. After Adam leaves, Sharon arrives to meet Mariah. Sharon brings up her night with Adam and how she turned down his proposal. Mariah turns the conversation to Rey and says that he’s the right guy for Sharon. She tries to convince Sharon to give Rey another chance and they can work on their relationship.

At Crimson Lights, Billy and his wife Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are chatting. Billy informs Victoria he’s going out of town for a business trip. When Victoria asks question about the trip, Billy snaps it’s because Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants him to go. He then tells Victoria if everything goes according to plan, it’ll change their lives. Victoria is worried about Billy’s well-being and says she wishes she could go. Billy assures her he’ll be fine and that Adam won’t cause any trouble while he’s gone.

Later after Billy leaves, Kevin storms into the coffee house and asks Victoria about Billy. Victoria mentions Billy’s been having a tough time since Adam’s return. When Kevin asks where Billy is, Victoria says he went to California on a business trip, and Kevin storms out.

Victoria is still at the coffee house when she calls Jack and learns Billy didn’t have a business trip scheduled. Adam storms in asking what the hell is going on with Billy. Victoria assures Adam Billy’s fine, but Adam brings up Billy’s accusations about planting Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) doll. Victoria makes a remark that it wouldn’t be surprising if Adam did it, then says Billy’s out of town and she orders Adam to leave her family alone. When Adam leaves, Victoria calls and leaves Billy a voicemail begging him not to go through with his plan.

Billy is shown sitting in his car and chewing gum. He takes a picture of the handkerchief, then sends it to Adam. At the penthouse, Adam receives the photo of the handkerchief along with a message saying “see you soon.” A furious Adam rushes out of the house.

Adam arrives at the highway and shouts that he’s here and for Billy to come out. Billy presses down on the gas pedal as the car heads towards Adam. Chloe arrives and pushes Adam out of the way. Billy sees Chloe and presses on the brakes, then steers to try to avoid hitting her.
