The Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday, December 31: Sharon & Rey Get Married – Chelsea’s Aneurysm Bursts – Amanda & Devon Ring In The New Year

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 31, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin the wedding of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get underway at Society. While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lurks from the doorway, Rey and Sharon will say their vows. Soon, Adam will get caught by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who will quietly ask Adam what he’s doing there.

Phyllis will needle Adam about whether Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) knows that he’s there. Adam will say that he saw what he needed to see, and he’ll leave while the wedding continues with no one the wiser. Rey and Sharon will exchange rings, and then Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) will conclude the ceremony and introduce everyone to Mr. and Mrs. Rosales.

Next on Y&R, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will formally welcome Rey into their family with a toast, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will offer a toast to the happy couple, too. Rey and Sharon will thank their family for all their support during this past difficult year, and they’ll be glad to be sharing their happy day with everyone.

Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will arrange for Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) to visit with everyone on a video chat, and Celeste will say some nice words to her new daughter-in-law. After a while, Faith’s friend Jordan (Madison Thompson) will crash the party, and Faith will skillfully manipulate Nick into letting her stay at Jordan’s house overnight after the festivities wind down.

It will soon be nearly midnight, and the wedding party will ring in the New Year together. Faith and Jordan will go off to the side and Faith will show Jordan her surprise, which is the vodka in her portable tumbler. Jordan will say that Faith is a genius and that she came through. Faith will smile happily.

Next on Y&R, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will show up at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place after getting herself upset thinking about her biological mother. Amanda will be sorry that she just showed up uninvited, but Devon will be glad to see Amanda and he’ll invite her in for a quiet New Year celebration of takeout and beer.

Through their conversation, Devon will tell Amanda some crazy party stories from work, and he’ll show Amanda some of his tattoos. The conversation will flow easily, and it will be obvious that Devon and Amanda have a nice rapport as they spend the evening talking and laughing.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Suffers A Health Crisis

Meanwhile, at Adam’s penthouse, Chelsea will be alone and still waiting for Adam when she experiences excruciating pain in her head. Chelsea will know that something’s terribly wrong, and she’ll dial 911 for help. Chelsea will barely have completed the call when she collapses on the floor. Soon, Adam will return to find Chelsea unconscious. EMTs will arrive and take Chelsea to the hospital.

From Devon’s place, he and Amanda will hear the commotion coming from the hallway, and Devon will open the door just in time to see Chelsea being hauled away on a gurney. Devon and Amanda will go back inside and decide that there’s nothing they can do, and just then fireworks will go off outside, signaling the New Year. Amanda will take off shortly thereafter.

Devon will end up falling asleep on his couch, where he dreams that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is there and the two of them have reunited. Devon will take Elena’s hand and lead her into the living room, but then she’ll turn into Amanda. Devon will wake up and wonder what’s just happened.

Over at the hospital, Elena will give Adam updates on Chelsea’s condition. Elena will say that Chelsea’s aneurysm burst and that she will be in surgery for quite some time. Elena will also say that it’s good that Chelsea called 911, since it got her to surgery faster. Adam will go, and then Elena will get a message from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) saying that he hopes the new year is better for them both.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Calls Her Birth Mother Again

Next on Y&R, Amanda will return to her suite at the Grand Phoenix, and she’ll call her birth mother Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey). “Who is this? Why did you call me last night? Were you outside my house on Christmas Eve?” Naya will say. Amanda will look terrified to say anything, and she’ll end up hanging up the phone.

Over at the Chancellor Mansion, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will enjoy their evening together, making love by the fire and discussing their futures. As Chance and Abby take down the various Christmas decorations, they’ll talk about how happy they are, and once the New Year arrives, they’ll share a dance.

Back at the Grand Phoenix, Nick will arrive at Phyllis’ suite to find her still awake. Phyllis will be in bed, and Nick will make his way there happily. Over at Adam’s penthouse, he’ll return home from the hospital in complete misery because of Chelsea. And at Sharon’s house, Rey and Sharon will return and wish each other a Happy New Year.
