The Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday, January 28: Kyle Warns Summer About Sally – Mariah Gets Advice – Elena Gets Stuck With Devon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that in Genoa City, Wissconsin Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) won’t like what she hears when she walks into the boardroom at Jabot. There, will be talking with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and when Sally walks in, Summer will say that she met some of Sally’s old friends in LA.

Summer will recount how she met Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). Jack won’t be any the wiser, and once he leaves, Summer will tell Sally that Flo and Wyatt didn’t have good things to say about her.

Next on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will walk into the boardroom, and Summer will needle Sally about the dirt she uncovered in LA. Sally will admit to making mistakes, but she’ll say that she just wants a fresh start in Genoa City. Summer will snark a bit, then Sally will leave unnerved.

Once Sally goes, Kyle will warn Summer about possibly having made the situation worse, noting that Sally might just lash out now that she feels cornered. Summer will wonder if that’s true, and as she and Kyle work, the ice storm will pick up. Ultimately, Kyle and Summer will get stuck in at Jabot.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Tries Again With Faith Newman

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Niki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet up at Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) house. Faith Newman (Alyia Alyn Lind) will be upstairs working, and Nick will note that Faith has been distant today. Nikki will go upstairs and try to talk with Faith, but Faith won’t feel like talking. Nick will head over to Crimson Lights to see Sharon.

Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon will tell Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asked her to treat Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Rey won’t like the idea at all, and he’ll say his peace, but ultimately, he’ll say that it’s Sharon’s decision.

Nick will show up next to discuss Faith, and he and Sharon will disagree over whether Faith should enter therapy. Ultimately, Nick will agree to go meet the therapist first, which will make Sharon happy.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Mariah Copeland Confides In Sharon Rosales

Next on Y&R, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will show up at Crimson Lights and tell Sharon off-screen about how Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) asked her to be their gestational carrier. Sharon will listen and ask Mariah how she’s feeling about it, and she’ll caution Mariah about how it might feel to carry a child that she wouldn’t ultimately raise.

Over at the Abbott mansion, Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will stop by to see Jack and to pay her respects to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). But really, Gloria will be there to ask Jack for a job at Jabot – something that Jack will turn down flat.

At Society, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will tell Sally that she has another project for her, but Sally will worry that it’s the JCV/Spencer Publications collaboration. Lauren will say yes, and Sally will say that she’s not the right person for that assignment, since she didn’t leave LA on good terms with the Spencers, particularly Wyatt.

Sally will also offhandedly say that Bill blew up the Spectra Fashions building while she was inside, and Lauren will be startled by that. Lauren will say that they’ll work out the staffing on the project accordingly. Sally will go, and Gloria will arrive to ask Lauren for a position at Fenmore’s. Lauren will say that she has nothing available.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Gets A Surprise Guest

Next on Y&R, Sally will arrive at the Abbott mansion to drop something off for Jack from Lauren. Jack and Sally will get along well, and Jack will note that the ice storm is getting worse and that Sally will be stuck at the mansion for a while. Sally will make herself comfortable.

Over at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will drop by to give Devon a package that was sent to the New Hope Clinic by mistake. Elena will note that things feel so strange being back in the penthouse, and she and Devon will decide that they’re on the way to becoming friends.

Devon will tell Elena that Moses Winters (Dax Randall) will be moving in soon, and after some small talk about that, Devon will have a question for Elena. Devon will wonder if Elena and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) were developing feelings for each other before the night of their affair. Elena won’t know how to answer, and she’ll get uncomfortable and leave. But in a few minutes, she’ll return saying that her car won’t start.
