The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 21 reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) considers a new venture. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) analyzes his tricky dynamic with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) questions Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) motives.

Adam Newman’s Motives

Y&R spoilers for Thursday, July 21 reveal that Adam has a plan that he’s already set in motion. However, Victor will question Adam’s motives. This is not just about Adam suddenly dumping Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Adam’s motives regarding telling Victoria and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) retaliation could also be questioned.

Even though Adam wants to see Victoria go down, destroying someone’s company is a lot different than letting them die. Despite their volatile relationship, Victoria still is Adam’s sister. Adam is resentful but he isn’t going to allow Ashland to commit murder.

Y&R Spoilers: Tricky Dynamic

In Thursday’s episode, fans can also expect Jack and Phyllis to navigate their dynamic. Phyllis loves Jack but their rekindled romance was destroyed. Phyllis wants to make things right but is also determined to get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Meanwhile, Jack feels that Phyllis just used him to get one over on Diane.

Perhaps Jack will start to question if he acted too hastily. Maybe Jack is ready to really listen to Phyllis’ point of view.

Lily Winters’ New Venture

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 21 reveal that Lily will consider adding to her portfolio. Fans might remember that Lily mentioned Chancellor-Winters building a hotel. Then, Lily suggested that she get Phyllis to sell the Grand Phoenix to the company.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) reminded Lily how hard Phyllis has worked on the hotel. While Lily dropped the topic for the time being, she could have a plan in place. So, we will see how Phyllis reacts to Lily and Chancellor-Winters going after the only thing she has left.

Fans will also see everyone worry about what Ashland is going to do once he gets out of jail. Victoria is unphased by Ashland coming after her. In fact, she seems to think that Ashland will just walk away after her New York con job. This is very concerning to Nick.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also still be reeling from a broken heart. In addition to that, Sally knows that she has one chance to prove she’s the right CEO for Newman Media. So, we will see how she plans to do that. How will Victor feel about Victoria and Nick’s decision to give Sally a trial run?

      As irritating as Phyllis can be,I much prefer her keeping The Grand Phoenix than the ex con, suddenly CEO (again another unbelievable promotion) Lilly take over. Lilly is so smug and up herself, she horrible to watch.

      Maybe they could start using the Godfather strategy where Victor starts grooming Adam to take over the business he’s the only one really that has the smarts to actually run that company plus the acting ability
