Over with Jill Abbott (temporarily played by Lauren Koslow), she will try to convince Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to set their differences aside.

However, Billy doesn’t want to focus on the future without knowing why Jill booted him out of Chancellor to begin with.

Billy hasn’t always been the greatest guy to work with. However, Billy still thinks there was another reason behind Jill’s decision.

Patty Williams’ Desperate Measure

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 9 reveal that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is disguised as a nurse at the hospital.

Now she has access to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and has overheard some telling information.

Patty has something in a syringe and will try to inject Jack. It doesn’t seem like this is fatal, but could cause a problem for Jack’s recovery.

It could also further incriminate Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). While the guard was busy gulping coffee, Patty is dressed as a nurse.

At the same time, the guard might realize something isn’t quite right.

Jack Abbott’s Fate

It should also be noted that a few months ago, a photo was leaked. It showed Patty in scrubs facing off with an unknown hooded female.

That just might be Diane, ready to fight for her freedom as well as Jack’s life, so stay tuned!

So, maybe Patty injects Jack with something that puts him in a coma. Diane and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) already know Patty is guilty, but how to convince the cops?

For a big city cop, Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) really should learn to investigate better.

Nikki Newman’s Recovery

We might also see more of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she tries to recover from major surgery. However, what is the fate of her eyesight as well as her marriage to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?

Once Nikki learns that Victor is responsible for Patty stabbing Jack, there will be hell to pay.
