Matt Clark’s Mistake

Let’s start off with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). The villain seems to really have amnesia. However, if I suddenly couldn’t remember my own name, I’d be headed to the hospital.

I wouldn’t care if I did bad things, not knowing your own identity is profoundly traumatic.

You have zero identity, and don’t even know what your personality is like or whhere you even belong.

So, I’m not completely convinced that Matt has real amnesia. Matt is sick enough to watch what he says to people.

Interestingly enough, he seems to be connecting with people that the Newman family knows.

Sure, it could be just that GC is a small town. However, I think Matt might be conning everyone.

Phyllis Summers’ Possible Redemption

However, with that being said, Matt just chatted with both Patty and Phyllis.

Once the man said his name, Phyllis’ eyes got really big. Matt could tell that Phyllis recognized his name.

However, how much will she tell him? 

Phyllis desperately needs redemption after everything she’s done.

So, I wonder if she will play mind games with Matt and serve him on a platter to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)!

Victor Newman’s Tough Love

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 14 reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) told Victor about Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) strange behavior.

Adam and Victor know that Nick is still using drugs.

While this is heartbreaking for Victor, he will make sure his son gets the help he needs. 

Victor doles out some tough love.

However, could it make Nick get help, or send him spiraling further into addiction?

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Jack will find a way to manipulate Patty. It seems that Jack’s offer will be tempting to Patty.

However, going against Victor can be dangerous and risky. At the same time, Patty clearly is still obsessed with Jack.

So, if she thinks she might have a chance at love with Jack, I could see her making a deal. 

Can they really defeat Victor Newman, though? That’s the million-dollar question, so stay tuned!
