The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) morbid exit after all of her villain antics leaves a hole on the canvas. Might this be just the opening needed to bring back one of the show’s legendary crazies, and set up another explosive dramarama?

Before Jordan came on the scene, it was Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) who played the role of the arch villain. Like Jordan he popped back up to make someone’s life a living hell–Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). He was a spectacular villain, depraved, and without a shred of decency—just like Jordan.

But he got his comeuppance and next came Jordan. Now that Jordan is gone, who will be next to fill the menace void in GC? Longtime viewers know what Patty Williams is made of—she would be the perfect person to fill the dark void in GC!

Only this time, it may be Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s (Susan Walters) turn to find themselves up against a lunatic character out for revenge. Is Patty Williams’ wild return waiting on the sidelines?

Think about it–Diane and Jack are blissed out professionally and personally, and soaps typically bust up happy couples before they have a chance to get boring.

With Jordan out of the picture, now would be the perfect time hand over the baton of villainism to another GC cuckoo, Patty Williams.

Patty routinely rides the collar coaster of moods and has shown she is a capable villain—will her dark shadow return to GC to torment Diane and Jack?

Y&R could decide to do a story where Patty is officially properly rehabilitated, but remember that is a low bar for soap characters to meet.

Stacy Haiduk plays Patty but right now she appears as Kristen DiMera on Days of Our Lives. If she’s not on contract, theoretically that leaves a door open for her to return to GC as Patty Williams, too.

It’s also possible to recast the role of Patty, especially in light of Patty’s previous plastic surgery.
