The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, August 14: Lily Furious with Cane – Phick’s Night Uncovered – Victoria Suspicious

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 14, 2018 reveals, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have drinks on the rooftop, both admitting the only time they have a rough time is when the four women are together. Nikki tells Victoria she has no reason to feel guilty; but they all do. Nate (Brooks Darnell) introduces himself to Victoria, when Nikki gets their drinks. Victoria turns him down, saying she is too busy to show him around Genoa City, but she looks intrigued when Nikki reveals Nate is her private physician.

Summer (Hunter King) joins Kyle (Michael Mealor) at Crimson, teasing him that it’s rare to see him without Ashley (Eileen Davidson), since they appear to be an exclusive club of two. Kyle implies that maybe neither him nor Ashley want to hang out with her, but she pushes wanting to know what they are plotting behind Billy’s (Jason Thompson) back. Kyle lets it slip that it is not even in the same category as Summer trying to get her mom’s boyfriend into bed!

Lily (Christel Khalil) is furious with Cane (Daniel Goddard) for planning to leave the country, saying if the Judge finds out, he won’t wait for sentencing to lock her up. Lily feels she needs to face her consequences, but Cane insists she needs to put her family first, no matter how crazy he sounds.

Nikki explains to Victoria how Victor (Eric Braeden) hired Nate for both of them, singing Nate’s praises. Victoria is suspicious as Nate wants to know why Nikki has been having more MS flareups than usual. Nikki thinks Nate has her best interests at heart but Victoria reminds them both that he needs to remember her neurologist is the expert; Nate bites back saying he has a feeling Victoria isn’t going to let him forget that fact. He leaves as Nikki says Victoria went hard on him; she’s sure his ego can handle it. Victoria reminds her mom that Nate is determined to get to the root of her problem and if he is as smart as he thinks he is; he might figure it out.

Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) are at Crimson talking about their mom’s situation. She hopes that Michael will come up with a solution before sentencing and all they can do is love and support Lily. Charlie wants to convince their Uncle Devon (Bryton James) to talk to the Judge and see that he is wrong.

Lily closes the office door, telling Cane if anyone finds out, he could go to jail just for buying the plane tickets. She asks if he even thought about the kids when he made these plans, as they could be without both their parents now. Cane feels living on a remote island than prison. Lily feels she doesn’t even know Cane, as he would base his decision on advice from his father Colin (Tristan Rogers), a criminal.

Summer teases Kyle, saying it is starting to show how worried he is as the thought of losing this bet is killing him. He feels that is funny, coming from the woman who wins either way. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) tries to dodge talking to them, but Kyle spots her before she can escape and calls her over. Kyle tells her, him and Summer are having coffee and trying not to kill each other. Mariah begs him not to stop on her account!

Summer and Mariah bicker over Mariah and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) relationship, then they discuss the party at Sharon’s and how much Summer doesn’t believe in Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship. She suggests Mariah’s head is in the clouds as she may have found her happy ending but that doesn’t happen for everyone else. Kyle rolls his eyes.

Victoria wants to know what Nate can do for Nikki that her doctors can’t do? Nikki assures her she won’t say anything about JT (Thad Luckinbill) but Victoria doesn’t trust Nate. Nikki informs her that ever since Victor hired Nate, she is less stressed. Victor joins them. Nikki tells him that she was telling Victoria, Nate joining their medical team is a good thing. Victor wants to know what Victoria would doubt that. Victoria thanks them both for everything they did to help Reed (then-Tristan Lake Leabu). Victor has a night planned exclusively for him and Nikki, he takes her hand and leads her into a private area on the patio.

Summer says the only reason she agreed to be in the wedding is because her dad, Nick asked her to. Mariah jokes that her loyalty is touching. Summer prefers the snarky Mariah and wants to have a good time, no strings and romance as Mariah wants to know if she believes in love. Summer just wants to win a bet.

Mattie understands Devon’s feeling, as their mom is responsible. Charlie says Lily coming forward isn’t good enough and he has to at least try with their Uncle Devon. Mattie feels that is a mistake. She will stick with him, even though she doesn’t agree.

Lily tries to leave HWG, but Cane attempts to stop her. She confronts him about not telling her the truth from day one and then telling Charlie to lie. She blames Cane for Devon hating her and wanting to send her to prison feeling no one should blame Devon. Cane pleads with her, saying he cannot lose her. She flat out tells him this isn’t about him. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and the baby are dead and all Cane can think about is himself and his family. She reminds him that their family needs to accept and face the consequences of her actions, NOT run away.

Kyle brings Summer a coffee, telling her to lay off Mariah about Tessa; not wanting to see Summer get her “butt kicked.” She says only because he asked. Kyle won’t let people at work see this softer side because people won’t see him coming and he will just step over them – including Summer. He reminds her, its not his fault she hooked herself to the wrong star. Kyle admits he is going to go with anyone who will get him what he wants – Ashley or otherwise.

Victoria arrives at the GCAC bar, but when she looks over she joins Lily at one of the chairs. Victoria shares about her rough day, but she suddenly gets a work emergency and has to leave.

Charlie and Mattie ring Devon’s doorbell repeatedly but he doesn’t answer. Nate comes off the elevator and invites them inside. Nate understands the situation and their need to try to help their mom. He hopes Devon will listen to them in a few weeks but right now he is really angry. He isn’t trying to be negative but wants them to be prepared in case Devon refuses to help Lily; he doesn’t want them to harbor guilt as it is out of their hands. Nate reminds them all they can do is control how they act and react, that when they stop listening to their head and heart, they stop being the person they want to be and the person their mom needs to be. He encourages them to always fight for justice and for their mom, but always stay true to themselves!

Cane races out of HWG

Summer continues to whine about Nick and Sharon’s relationship. As they talk about how Sharon and Nick had a big enough fight, that Nick spent the night away from the house, Kyle has an epiphany.

Victor and Nikki are very relaxed after their romantic massages. He says this is just the beginning, as he has dinner for two in the dining room. There is no occasion, he simply just loves her and this is a way for her to relax after all the pressure she has been under lately. Nikki lets it slip that JT is in the past but Victor questions her, saying JT is still out there somewhere, so how does she know it is in the past? Nikki swears its a gut feeling. During dinner, they toast to both their health as Nikki wishes she could put a magic something around the people she loves to protect them. She insists Nate is an excellent doctor and is helping her with her anxiety. They both feel being together, makes them feel better.

Victoria runs into Nate at Crimson, while she is rushing to get a coffee for work. She thinks it is about her parents, but Nate says he wants to talk about her! She apologizes for being rude earlier, saying she is tired worrying about her mother. She admits she isn’t sure Nate can provide the care Nikki needs. Nate points out that it’s obvious she is carrying a lot of emotional baggage, saying he is good at his job. Victoria pretends that isn’t true. He advises her not to hold things in, it can cause a lot of emotional and physical damage. Victoria says he might not be as smart as he thinks he is. He suggests he is only trying to help. She tells him that sticking his nose where is doesn’t belong, never helps!

Cane finds Lily on the rooftop. She insists she needs time but before they can finish talking the twins return. Charlie says their parents can count on them as they won’t do anything stupid or selfish. Mattie says if they stick together, they can deal with whatever happens. Cane admits its not easy feeling powerless and out of control, as it makes you desperate and make bad decisions. He agrees with Mattie and Charlie, holding Lily, saying they can’t forget they are better together.

Kyle and Summer talk about the fight between Nick and Sharon. He pretty much spells it out for Summer – “Nick spent the night somewhere other than Sharon’s!!” She finally clues in what night Nick went AWOL. Summer is shocked to learn that her mom hooked up with her dad!
