The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday August 20: Sharon Receives A Marriage Proposal, Kyle and Lola Go On Their Honeymoon, and Lauren Demands Answers From Michael

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 20th indicate that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be stunned by an unexpected marriage proposal, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) embark on their honeymoon, and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) finds himself in the hot seat with his wife.

YR Spoilers – Rey Rosales and Adrian Korbel face-off

Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) comes into Crimson Lights and makes small talk with Sharon. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) then comes in and pulls his father outside on the patio. Their argument turns to Adrian’s unemployment and his stay in Genoa City. Rey believes Adrian’s only in town for money since Lola’s husband is part of a rich family.

Rey vows that Adrian’s not going to hurt the family again. Adrian brings up how Rey’s ex-wife is pregnant by his brother Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). Rey is about to punch Adrian when Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) comes in and breaks up the fight. Sharon comes out to see if everything’s alright. While Rey and Sharon are inside, he overhears Adrian begging Celeste for another chance. After Celeste turns him down, Adrian leaves. Rey comforts his mother, who says she’s sad her ex-husband will never find happiness. Their discussion turns to Sharon, and Celeste says that one day Rey will be happy.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Fenmore questions Michael Baldwin

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is at the park reading a newspaper article about Michael running for D.A. He mutters “you’re welcome” as he looks at the headline.

Meanwhile, Michael and his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) are at the rooftop bar and discussing his run for D.A. Michael says he’s not nervous, then Lauren questions why he’s interested in the position and if it has anything to do with Adam. Michael says once he’s D.A. he’ll be through with Adam, yet Lauren’s suspicious over Michael’s alliance with Adam.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) appear and tell Michael he’s got their votes. Lauren breaks up their conversation to tell Michael he has a call from the mayor. While they’re gone, Phyllis and Summer discuss Kyle and Lola’s wedding. Phyllis says that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) brought Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) and wonder is Lola knows about her.

After Michael ends his call with the mayor, Lauren once again questions him about Adam. She wants to know if this has anything to do with his brother Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Michael ignores her to greet voters, then Adam arrives. Phyllis watches as the two go off to chat in private. Adam said he helped Michael’s election by convincing the other candidates not to run. Phyllis interrupts their conversation allowing Michael to leave. Phyllis and Adam start arguing about the Grand Phoenix.

She informs him that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) brought the hotel and she’s going to be partners with Phyllis. Their discussion then turns to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) restraining order and Phyllis compliments Victor on his actions. Phyllis asks Adam if he really wants to be a father to Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) or does he want revenge against Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Phyllis remarks that Adam has a sad life, she also explains she once was like him until she put her focus towards the things she loves.

Zoe arrives at the bar and notices Summer. She says she’s one of Summer’s biggest fans. Zoe says that Theo told her Kyle had been worried about her since that night in New York. She explains she doesn’t hold a grudge and she thinks the world of Theo and Kyle. Just then Theo arrives and invites Zoe and Summer to join him for dinner. Zoe agrees, but Summer refuses. Later Phyllis rejoins her daughter, but their chat gets cut short when Summer is called into work.

Later Michael and Lauren are at Crimson Lights. An angry Michael talks about how Adam destroys people’s lives and takes whatever he wants. Lauren asks if that’s why he’s running for D.A. so he can take down Adam. Michael says that would be unethical, but Lauren suspects that’s his reason.

YR Spoilers – Kyle Abbott and Lola Rosales honeymoon

Kyle and Lola are cuddling in bed, chatting about their wedding and looking at the photos from the ceremony. Lola says she’s happy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) convinced her mom to come to the wedding, and how she felt seeing her father show up. Their talk then turns to Theo and his female guest. Kyle switches the subject back to Adrian and Lola says it’s his fault he has no one in his life.

The couple enjoys a romantic dinner, then go back to their room to make love.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s proposal

Sharon is at the park when Adam calls asking if he can meet her. He arrives at the park moments later and explains the reason he wanted to meet her. He asks her to marry him, and Sharon is left stunned by his proposal.
