The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance Chancellor May Have Made It Out Of The Safe House
Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that there is a good chance that Chance was not in the safe house when it was bombed that presumably caused his death. Even though his ring and his watch were sent back to Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and she gave them to Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), if he had been wearing the ring and his remains had not been found, a forensics team would have kept the ring to check for his DNA.
As it was, this was not mentioned by Christine, and if Chance made it out of the safe house having found a bomb that was planted, he may have left his ring as a way of faking his death to keep his enemies from following him. It doesn’t sound like his teammates made it but that doesn’t mean he abandoned them – it just means he made it out and they didn’t. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that he has faked his death before, and it was not specified whether the bomb was planted or if it was dropped from an aircraft!
Y&R Spoilers – Why Would Chance Chancellor Not Call His Wife And His Mother?
Viewers of The Young and The Restless may wonder if Chance is trying to contact someone, why is he not calling his wife, his mother, or even Christine to let them know he’s alive? Why would he contact Victor and Adam? One logical reason might be because he again, will want to protect them and he certainly doesn’t want them to come looking for him in a dangerous area! If Chance were to try to contact Christine, he would have to go through the operatives in the area because of the chain of command, and he doesn’t want to put them in any more danger than they are already in either.

Contacting Victor would be preferable but he may contact Adam as well. This message may not come through clearly either, depending on where he is contacting them from and how. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Chance would try to make contact in a way that cannot be traced back to him – possibly from a burner phone, and coming from overseas it may be quite full of static!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Message Will Be Puzzling
The Young and The Restless spoilers do indicate that the message that Victor and Adam receive, which may be separately, or one message addressing both, will be puzzling! This lends more credence to the possibility of it coming through unclear, and if it is by phone, perhaps difficult to understand. If this is Chance, he may not identify himself – and it may just be a fraction of a sentence, like him saying he’s okay. Victor and Adam may not recognize the voice, or it could be a joint email coming from an encrypted email address that cannot be responded to.
Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Abby has already had to be stopped from going to Spain to look for Chance, and that would be the last thing he would want her to do. It’s even possible that Christine may know he survived, and that the explosion was staged to protect him and his team members as part of the mission. It’s clear that it pains her to deliver the bad news and the ring and the watch, but there’s no reason to believe she would have had any other choice if that is the case! Victor and Adam will puzzle over if this is Chance trying to make contact!
