Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is stating that he has information on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But intel that the ‘Moustache’s’ investigator appeared to provide him is suspicious.

Unless the audience wasn’t shown what happened, or something unusual went down, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was never with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) at a hotel on multiple occasions. Y&R fans did recently see Amanda with Billy at the suite he just moved into, but they didn’t do anything other than talk.

So, now that Victor provided his daughter with verbal intel that claims otherwise, Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) plans to play hardball with Billy where their children are concerned.

The scenario appears to be classic Victor, though some other factors could be in play. Victor wants to protect his daughter knowing that Vickie has been legitimately wronged by Billy for the umpteenth time in the many versions of their relationship.

A bitter confrontation took place at the Ranch, where Victor told Billy that he wasn’t going to see his children and that he was no longer welcome at that home base location, where Vickie, Johnny Abbott (Ryan and Holden Hare), and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) are currently staying. Victor’s intent is to respond to ‘Villy’s’ strife by boxing Billy out.

Billy seems to be falsely accused of cheating on Vickie, but wouldn’t be in this position unless he’d put himself there. These past months haven’t been easy ones for Thompson’s character. But rather than continue meeting with his psychologist, Billy opted to diagnose himself as healthy.

Longtime fans know that Billy hasn’t been behaving normally in recent months. His actions and revealed inner thoughts reflect instability. Professional help and the support of his loved ones were and remain vital, but he’s rejected both.

Proclamations about everyone’s perceptions being wrong and him needing to discover his authentic self ring hollow. Billy is confusing misguided selfishness with self-awareness.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Vickie Newman Put In Bad Spot

Vickie needed Billy following the intensely painful J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) arc. Thompson’s alter ego stood strong while she endured all that happened and then rebounded. But Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) latest return provoked Billy and he hasn’t been able to control himself ever since.

Billy is responsible for Billy, a point that he thinks he understands but doesn’t. In stark contrast, Vickie continues to handle her parental responsibilities, which are the most important part of this storyline. She’s also leading a major global conglomerate.

The bad spot Billy has put Vickie into is tapping Victor’s paternal instincts. He wants ‘Billy-boy’ gone permanently and is prepared to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
