The Young And The Restless  – Victor Newman Wants To End The Conflict

The Young and The Restless spoilers indicate that Victor sees Sally as nothing more than another conflict between Nick and Adam. However, Adam has a history with Sally and Nick doesn’t need to be associated with her in Victor’s eyes. If given the choice, Sally wouldn’t be having a baby with either of his sons but Adam is the more suitable one to be tied to her.

Nick is Victor’s golden boy and he doesn’t need to be tied to a schemer like Sally. It doesn’t matter that Sally may have changed since her time in Los Angeles. It doesn’t matter that Nick truly cares for Sally. What matters to Victor is trying to get his sons to stop fighting over a woman and act as though they are family. It hasn’t happened so far but Victor can hope.

Whether Sally is aware of it or not, it seems that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) may get a DNA sample from Nick so that Sally can have a paternity test done. Of course, considering the two are brothers, she’s going to need a sample from both of them to distinguish paternity. However, Victor may get wind of this test long before his sons know anything.

Victor has people who have investigated Sally and they are probably still keeping an eye on her. One can bet that Victor will likely know that Sally is pregnant before that test is even scheduled and will have someone lined up to make sure that Adam is shown to be the father. After all, Victor would still have his grandchild and Nick would never know the child was his.

During the week of January 16-20, spoilers say that Victor carries out a scheme. This could obviously have to do with getting Adam fired from Jabot since Victor strikes up a deal with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to get Adam out of the company and back to Newman Enterprises. After all, Victor wants his son back in the family business.

However, another scheme is making sure that Adam is named the father of Sally’s child. Perhaps having another child on the way will cause Adam to want to work with his family. Of course, Adam could also torment his brother with the paternity reveal as well. Is Victor solving a problem or giving his sons just one more thing to fight over?
