Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took pleasure in besting his daughter when securing Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) media company.

Ashland and Victoria are now one, as Vashland’s Tuscan wedding announced to the world. With that, Burgi’s character is siding with his wife as she attempts to buy Chance Comm.

Vashland is loyal to itself, while recognizing that Newman Enterprises can become a major rival of Newman Media.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Believes Foe Is Defeated

Victor believes that the perfect trap was set and that Billy-boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has no ability to escape the inevitable. Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) was compromised. His turn against Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has left their company vulnerable.

So, Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believe that Chance Comm will crumble. They anticipate buying the remnants of the company for peanuts, eliminating what seemingly is a chief rival.

It is fair to wonder how either company could be overly influential within its online media business niche, considering the relative newness of both entities?

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Considering All Options

Billy and Lily were stunned to see Victoria and Ashland in the doorway of their swanky condo. Vashland arrived, entered, and then made a surprising offer.

Newman Enterprises would buy Chance Comm, with Jill Abbott Atkinson’s (Jess Walton) approval, thereby absorbing the media company into its corporate fold. Billy would be out, per his voluntary offer, and Lily would be the boss.

That offer might be appealing to Billy, as he does not want to see Victor and Adam pick from the remnants of what he and Lily created. However, it is not so clear cut from Lily’s perspective.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Never Forgets

Victoria has forgiven Ashland for selling Cyaxares to her dad. However, Victor obtaining that company sticks in her craw because she believed a deal was at-hand.

Obtaining Chance Comm would also allow Newman Enterprises to vie with Newman Media. That potential is too delicious for Victor’s firstborn to pass up.

Whether Jill will receive the best overall offer from Newman Enterprises or Newman Media remains to be seen on Y&R. Victor was intending to low-ball Jill all along. But ponying up some extra loot, which the Moustache clearly has, might be worthwhile in order to keep Victoria in what he thinks is her place.
