The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could fake Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) paternity test results. There’s no way she’d want Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to know he has a baby coming, she might rig it to say the baby daddy is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Nick will confide in his sister about Sally’s pregnancy, and he might let slip it could either be his or Adam’s, and that she’s getting a paternity test. But Sally is leaving Adam in the dark for the time being, only testing with Nick to start with – so if it’s not a match for Nick, they know it’s Adam’s. In Victoria’s hands, this confession could become a weapon against Adam, should the test show he’s the father by process of elimination with Nick not a match.

Victoria isn’t wild about Sally being in any of her world, let alone be having her niece or nephew. She’s like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) where Sally’s concerned, considering her persona non grata-but if there’s a Newman baby, she’d rather it was Nick’s.

Y & R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Knows People At Memorial Hospital

Even though Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) isn’t a doctor anymore, Victoria is bound to know other people at Memorial Hospital, besides the too honest Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Even if she doesn’t, Nate surely knows people who will be willing, for a price, to do important things like rig paternity tests, and she’s got the money. In any hospital, lab techs, coders and clerks are at the lowest end of the pay scale, and they’re always looking for more money and they’ll find someone who’ll bite.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Victoria can either have the test itself rigged or the results, and she wants them to show Nick, not Adam, is the father of the new Newman baby. However, it could backfire on her – Adam carries the gene for retinitis pigmentosa through his mother’s side-Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) had it.

Regardless if Victoria pays for the results to be skewed, it could come back and bite her down the line-she’ll justify herself because of Adam’s scheming against her. Victor may not like Sally, but scheming to rob Adam of an heir and to deceive Nick might be the one thing that turns even Victor against his daughter. She’ll say that the baby will be better off being Nick’s child, but he’s raising one of Adam’s already anyway, he’ll love the baby regardless.

And if Sally’s baby winds up needing a cornea transplant like Connor did, that’ll be proof of Victoria’s deception. Everyone in the Newman family knows retinitis pigmentosa would have been passed down from Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman).
