The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) takes his mind off revenge on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) long enough to plot revenge on someone who truly deserves it!
Victor rebuilds Jordan Howard’s (Colleen Zenk) cage underneath the new Newman ranch house, and this time it’s going to be for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)!
Matt Has Wreaked Havoc On The Newmans For Far Too Long
Matt has wreaked havoc on the Newmans for far too long, going back to when Nick and Sharon Newman (Joshua Morrow, Sharon Case) were in high school.
He’s faked his death and changed his name so many times Victor’s almost lost count, but he figures once everyone comes back from Las Vegas, Matt will follow.
He’s done a lot of damage but failed to kill Nick and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) although he certainly tried-Noah from a wreck and Nick from bad drugs.

Victor is determined to once again hunt down Matt, like he did years ago, and this time he’ll be just as sadistic as Matt is, throwing it back at him.
He begins a secret project-rebuilding a cage like he put Jordan in, underneath the new Newman ranch house; only this one will be much more secure.
Like A Rat In A Trap
Victor channels his anger from Jack to plotting a permanent solution for Matt, he now wishes he’d taken the sadistic scoundrel off Jack’s security men’s hands when they had him!
Then none of this would have happened-Matt would be caught like a rat in a trap, and everything that he has done to Victor’s son and grandson would have been done to him!

It’s about time someone taught him a lesson that he won’t soon forget-and Victor plans to give him the rest of his life to think about it.
Victor’s goal is to have Matt not just buried in the ground alive, but under the ground, and be stuck in the cell the rest of his natural life.
Fighting Fire With Fire
Victor plans to only have a select few trustworthy ones of his men to even know this underground prison cell exists-like the one at the old ranch house, it will have a secret entrance.
It will have a comfortable chair for Victor to sit in as he goads his prisoner into compliance. If he finds out Matt hates a certain food or perhaps he’s got a food allergy, that will be his total diet.
He chuckles as he remembers that insufferable Jordan woman when he did that to her! Now, while the cell is being built he plans a very complicated scenario that Matt will not be able to resist, laying out a map that will only lead to a fatal trap!
