The Young And The Restless Spoilers Wednesday, December 9: Elena & Nate’s Date – Victoria’s Devious Plan – Billy & Lily Investigate Shooting

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 9, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) will wake up on the last day of their honeymoon. The resort on the island will have made some improvements to their room, and Abby and Chance will be very much enjoying their stay.

After some discussion, Abby and Chance will decide to live in the Chancellor mansion when they return to Genoa City, since Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), and Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will be moving soon. Abby will decide to go all-in with the three family names and become Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor. Finally, the happy couple will discuss baby names, deciding on Cary for a boy and Diana for a girl.

Next on Y&R, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will find Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the Grand Phoenix, and she’ll say that she can’t stay in Genoa City as he’s fighting the attempted murder charges against him. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will show up next, angry with Billy for lying to her and to the police. Amanda will insist that she and Billy must have a strict working relationship until the case is resolved and that he must be honest with her from now on.

Up in Phyllis Summer’s (Michelle Stafford) suite, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive and offer to help Phyllis sort things out with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about the hotel. Phyllis won’t like the idea, but ultimately Nick will persuade her to let him handle it.

Victoria Newman & Victor Newman Spar Over Billy Abbott’s Innocence

Meanwhile, at Newman Enterprises, Victoria and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will discuss Billy’s innocence after Victor overhears Victoria on the phone with a reporter professing Billy’s innocence. Victor will caution Victoria about talking to the press, and he’ll wonder what Victoria will do if Billy gets convicted. Victoria will assure her father that Billy’s innocent, but Victor won’t be so sure.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will argue about the case against Billy. Lily will assure Devon that Billy is innocent, but Devon will opine that Lily should cut ties with Billy before he gets convicted and brings her down with him. Lily won’t appreciate all the negativity, and she’ll leave upset.

Elena Dawson & Nate Hastings Enjoy Their First Date

Next on Y&R, at Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) apartment, Elena will get ready for her first date with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Later, Elena will meet up with Nate at Society, and the two will enjoy their time together, although they’ll each be nervous about the whole thing. After a while, Devon will enter the restaurant to pick up takeout, which will lead to some uncomfortable moments, but in the end, Elena will say that she’d like another date with Nate.

Over at another table, Victoria and Nick will talk, and Nick will urge Victoria to let Phyllis have the hotel. Victoria won’t appreciate this, and she’ll insist that the hotel is hers since she owns a 75% stake in the property. Nick will ask Victoria to think about it, and Victoria will cryptically say that there might be a way to fix the situation.

Devon Hamilton Extends An Invitation

Next on Y&R, Devon will return home with his food, then he’ll call Amanda and ask her to join him. She’ll be in the process of heading to Devon’s place when she’ll get a message from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) asking for a meeting with her and Billy tomorrow morning. Amanda will respond affirmatively.

Meanwhile, over at Chancellor Communications, Lily will find Billy in her office. Billy will have just left a rose on Lily’s desk, and after a little flirting, Lily will tell Billy that the police will probably stop investigating the shooting now that they’ve arrested him. Lily will suggest that they use their resources to investigate the shooting on their own and find the person who’s framing him. Billy will agree.

Victoria Newman Enacts A Devious Plan

Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of Y&R, Nick will show back up to Phyllis’ suite at the Grand Phoenix. Nick will be optimistic about Victoria, saying that she seems open to Phyllis getting the hotel back. However, over at Newman Enterprises, Victoria will talk with someone on the phone saying that she wants to find a way to Phyllis out of the hotel and sell the building at a premium price.
