Since Chance has been back in Genoa City, he has been struggling. Abby is aware that Chance has trauma. However, she thought for a long time that the PTSD would just disappear if she loved him enough. It is only recently that Abby is starting to realize that she might not be able to give Chance the help he needs.

During the week of February 14, Abby and Chance will be dealing with another blow. This one is regarding Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (River and Rainn Ware) medical condition. It is also teased that Chance will continue to struggle with his PTSD and Abby learns about her husband’s secrets.

The Young And the Restless Spoilers – Others Becoming Concerned

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that others in Genoa City will begin to see just how much Chance is struggling. Besides Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Rey notices it when Chance comes with him out on a burglary stakeout. Then, Rey shares the information with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

At one point, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were also worried about Chance. They probably still are but have their attention on other things right now.

Y&R Spoilers – Captain America Complex

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Floyd explained why Chance won’t get the professional help that he needs.

“Chance is that Captain America-esque hero, who’s supposed to save the day, so he shouldn’t show any weakness. He keeps pushing his problems aside so he can be there for Abby and Dominic, but he’s not dealing with his PTSD… They’re both [Chance and Abby] are walking on eggshells… Abby knows that he’s one conversation from losing it… I don’t know how much more he can take.”
