Chelsea’s been spiraling and having some pretty bizarre mood swings to boot lately, and everyone agrees she needs help.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Paranoia

It’s plain to see that Chelsea is suffering paranoia – a recent episode showed Chelsea thinking that Adam, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) were staging an intervention. This came close on the heels of her seeking Sharon’s help but then she went off on her when she suggested she needed help, and she could refer her. Chelsea actually accused them of being out to get her, and Adam was already worried about her and had talked to Sharon earlier about her actions towards her sons.

Chelsea had upset both Connor Newman, (Judah Mackey) and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) her two biological sons. Sharon and Adam both felt Chelsea was becoming emotionally dependent on Connor and wanted Johnny for the same reason-not good for young boys, they’re not made for that.

Y & R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Noticed

Chance had brought Chelsea over to Crimson Lights for some coffee and he was trying to help, and even he had a shocked look on his face at her meltdown. He could understand why she might think he brought her over there as part of an intervention but he’s off the clock, it’s not an official police matter. But his FBI and police training showed him that there is something going very, very wrong and perhaps something will need to be forced to get her help. Time is of the essence, because Chelsea is rapidly losing control, and she could become a danger to herself or Connor. After Chelsea runs out after her meltdown the three of them talk about how to get her help.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Must Take Control

Even though Adam and Chelsea are divorced, they still share a minor child, Connor; Adam still has the right to do a judicial commitment on Chelsea if necessary. Sharon and Chance both agree, with their training, that she is beyond the help an intervention could provide and need help, in a therapeutic setting. That means a setting like she was in after trying to frame Adam for poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

Adam agrees something drastic will need to be done before Chelsea spirals any further, plus some tests should be done to make sure she doesn’t have another aneurysm. After all, there could be a physical cause for her problems if there is something in that section of her brain.

      I think that She needs help. I think that it’s because of her friendship with Rey. And now that he’s gone, she doesn’t know what to do. Her telling Johnny about her being his bio mom was totally uncalled for. And then telling Connor too, and getting the same reaction. And trying to reconnect with Billy didn’t help either.
