The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Will Mariah And Tessa Still Adopt?

Before Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) married, they discussed having children. Tessa was looking for something to do after losing her voice and being unable to perform for a while, and Mariah was still missing her baby Bowie (Dominic).

Although neither is a compelling reason to start a family, the show still had Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) declare that she had located a birth mother who was open to meeting the couple. In order to have more space, they even moved from their smaller apartment above the coffee shop into the tack house.

The Young And The Restless – What Happened To Their Baby Dreams?

Did Tessa and Mariah ever get in touch with the birth mother? How went it? Did they get along well? Do they intend to adopt her child? Has the child already arrived? Whose infant is that? It would be disappointing if Mariah and Tessa went through the entire process behind the scenes and then abruptly appeared with their newborn child, perhaps at Christmas or Thanksgiving. Nothing more is ever said about it. Yes, in the real world, that’s really nice. Yet this is a soap opera! We require drama!

Y&R Spoilers – Who Was The Mother?

The birth mother or father must be…someone. Perhaps it’s a girl who was trafficked into prostitution like Tessa’s sister, Crystal. Perhaps it’s someone from Mariah’s cult days, or an escapee from one. Will Mariah and Tessa recognize so much of themselves in the girl’s past that they become overly empathetic and try to persuade her to keep the child? Will this cause problems in their relationship?

Coincidences abound in real life. Soap isn’t. Or it should not be. Can we take solace in the fact that Mariah and Tessa found a baby to adopt just a few weeks before Audra Charles (Zuleika Silver) informed Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) that he’d left her pregnant — but that she’d miscarried?

We have so many questions that need to be answered and we must find out soon, right? They cannot just leave that storyline without saying anything else and I’m sure someone in Genoa City will be asking questions soon.
