Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam quit Newman Media. Adam is and continues to rage over being pushed aside so Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have have her throne back at Newman Enterprises.

Adam feels that he has done everything possible to earn redemption. However, no matter how hard he tries, Adam is always the outsider and scapegoat. Meanwhile, Victoria can commit all kinds of betrayal and sins without any consequences.

Y&R Spoilers: Ashland Locke’s Pact

After Victor overheard Adam promising to get revenge, the two had a tense conversation. Adam decided to walk away from the company. Adam probably thinks that his quitting would ease Victor’s mind about going through with revenge. However, Victor knows his son well and is coming up with a strategy.

Meanwhile, Adam agreed to work with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Even though Ashland’s henchman is stalking Victoria, the “Locke-ness Monster” has no idea he’s being trailed as well. So, Victor will be notified that Adam went to see Ashland shortly after quitting Newman Media.

Victor Newman’s Manipulation

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that in the Wednesday, July 13 episode, Victor cornered Sally alone at the office. Shutting the door, Victor said they needed to make some things clear. Victor also took the time to look at Sally’s new nameplate, which lists her as CEO of Newman Media.

Based on an earlier conversation Victor had with the other Newman family members, he plans on manipulating Sally. This job is a dream for Sally and she wants to keep it. However, Sally is also in love with Adam. Sally is trying to support Adam in his decisions but is also afraid of how far he will go, especially since Ashland is involved.

It is suggested that Victor could offer Sally an offer that she can’t refuse. Knowing Victor, he will use Sally’s love for Adam to get his way. Victor knows that Sally also wants respect and redemption. In addition, Sally is very focused on her career.

Victor could propose that Sally keeps her position at Newman Media but she will be required to do something in exchange. Since Adam confides in Sally, Victor wants to know all the details of what they talk about.

Of course, this will put Sally in a tough position. Under normal circumstances, Sally wouldn’t betray Adam’s trust. However, Victor could tell Sally that Adam is thinking clearly and is putting himself in danger, especially by working with Ashland. Then, adding to the suspenseful storyline is Adam throwing Sally a curveball during the week of July 18.  Adam could suspect Victor got to Sally and feeds her bad information to see what she does. Another possibility is that Sally tells Adam about Victor’s deal, which will have him pushing her to double-cross the Newman patriarch.

Will Sally accept Victor’s deal and betray Adam with good intentions? If she does, it will be a mistake. Sally should just walk away from Newman Media immediately and consider distancing herself from Adam while he’s plotting revenge. Unfortunately, Sally probably won’t make the right choice and the consequences could be catastrophic.
