The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that fans won’t be seeing Reed for quite some time as actor Tristan Lake Leabu is of contract. Even though the young actor is currently up for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in a Drama Series, he’s about to vacate his role from the highly rated CBS soap.
According to new reports, Leabu has shot his final scenes with The Young and the Restless. Even though his father JT has mysteriously disappeared and his mother Victoria is desperately trying to hide the truth, it looks like Reed will be sent off to boarding school after all.
The young actor joined the soap back in January of 2017. Throughout his time on the show, we’ve seen his character go through what many would call normal teen angst and arguing with his mother over parental boundaries. We’ve also seen him get into plenty of trouble with downloading certain things that he shouldn’t have seen at his age and more recently, driving while intoxicated.
So far Tristan Lake Leabu hasn’t made any comments about his departure from the soap or what his future plans are for that matter. But what we do know is that he has a career as a guitarist and singer at The Underground. He also performed in last year’s opening musical number at the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. It is unknown if he plans on performing for this year’s award ceremony as well. Either way, fans will be sad to see this young talent go!
