The Young and the Restless promo for the week of December 2nd through 6th indicates that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship will be tested when she moves in with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) has been through a lot of turmoil in the past few months. When Connor requested to live with Adam, Chelsea agreed to it, yet his new living arrangement has caused Chelsea to miss her son.

Connor’s problems continued to worsen following the hostage situation at the Grand Phoenix, where he was held captive by Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). Connor is suffering from anxiety and having nightmares.

Nick knows Chelsea wants to help Connor, but he feels that moving in with Adam is a bad idea.

Y&R Spoilers – A possible Chadam reunion

The show has been hinting at a possible Chadam reunion, and Chelsea moving in with Adam and Connor is sure to bring up old feelings.

With Chelsea living in her old home with her ex-husband, she’ll be reminded of the memories they had. Even though Chelsea says she doesn’t want to be with Adam, it’s obvious she still has feelings for him. She showed signs of jealousy when she learned that Adam spent Thanksgiving with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

As for Adam, he considers Chelsea the love of his life. It’s obvious he still loves her and in a clip from the promo, he’s seen caressing a sleeping Chelsea’s cheek.

He was saddened when Chelsea refused to give them another chance, but now he has an opportunity to win her back. With her living in the penthouse, he can remind her of the good times they had and can continue to have as a family.
