The Young and the Restless promo for the week of February 3rd thru 7th indicates that there will be a lot of fallout following the revelation that Summer Newman (Hunter King) kissed Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Summer and Kyle’s kiss

During a business trip to San Francisco, Summer and Kyle went back to his hotel suite where they celebrated with beers.

Soon the two were talking about Kyle’s marriage to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), and Summer questioned if Kyle was happy. After telling him that he deserves to be happy, Summer kissed Kyle.

Kyle kissed Summer back before pulling away. Even though they agreed to forget about what happened, Kyle keeps thinking about the kiss and if his marriage to Lola is a mistake.

Theo learns about the kiss

Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) overheard Summer and Kyle’s conversation about something happening in San Francisco.

Theo then taunts Summer that he knows about San Francisco, and she finally confesses she kissed Kyle. Upon hearing the story, Theo responds that Kyle is playing both women. He then accuses Summer of wanting Kyle, and hoping Theo will expose the truth so that Kyle and Lola’s marriage will blow up.

Kyle confesses to Lola

Kyle has been feeling guilty over the kiss and knows he needs to tell his wife about it. Lola has been noticing Kyle’s strange behavior since he returned from his trip.

This week Lola confronts her husband by saying he’s feeling guilty about something. Lola demands that Kyle tell her the truth and don’t hold anything back.

Kyle tells his wife about the kiss, which is sure to cause more tension in their marriage. The couple has been at odds over Summer and Theo for months now.

Learning about Kyle and Summer’s kiss is going to cause Lola to question her marriage.

What’s next for the foursome?

With Summer and Kyle’s kiss finally exposed, it’s going to lead to a lot of fallout.

Lola and Kyle’s marriage remains in question as the two come to terms with Kyle’s betrayal. Lola believes she can no longer trust her husband. For the past few months, he’s been giving a hard time about Theo, when it’s apparent Kyle still has feelings for his ex.

A heartbroken Lola is going to need time to figure out what to do next. One person who will be there for her is Theo. His friendship with Lola has caused him to develop romantic feelings for her. He thinks they’re better suited for each other than her and Kyle.

So with her marriage possibly over, Theo believes now’s the time to make his move.

As for Summer, she’s also going to pull a similar stunt like Theo. Kyle is the true love of her life and the kiss proved the two still have feelings for each other. Summer said she hopes Kyle and Lola’s marriage ends. She also said when the time’s right, she’ll make her move on Kyle.

Now that the couple appears to be on the brink of divorce, now’s the time for Summer to make her move.
